Dao Lord carried the Great Bell and the Chaos Lotus as he traversed this Nirvana Hong Yuan. The Great Bell carefully comprehended the process by which seven different Innate Great Daos fell into the Nirvana Great Dao, gradually gaining some understanding of the Nirvana Great Dao instead of being completely in the dark as before.
There were still many phenomena in the Nirvana Hong Yuan that it could not understand, such as the process by which the void fell into nirvana, and the process by which the Nirvana Great Dao transformed into chaos.
Most peculiar of all were the various bygone ages of the Other Shore—the history that had already occurred and the future that had yet to happen. All of them were dissolved in the Nirvana Tribulation.
It sought Dao Lord's guidance, and Dao Lord was very patient with it. He explained, "Nirvana, strictly speaking, is the complete destruction of everything in the universe. Destroying everything in the universe before one's eyes means destroying everything one can see and everything one knows. But if the history of the past is not destroyed, can it still be called complete destruction? Where there is history in the past, there is a possible future. If the past and future are not destroyed, what will happen?"
The Great Bell suddenly saw the light and blurted out, "On the original site of the Other Shore destroyed in the Sea of Chaos, there would still be another Other Shore—but the flow of time on that Other Shore would abruptly end when the Nirvana Tribulation erupted!"
Dao Lord smiled. "Wrong. There would be two Other Shores: one belonging to the past, and one belonging to the future. Therefore, if the Nirvana Tribulation erupted, it would certainly destroy the past and future in their entirety! The Sea
