Uchiha Shisui realized that he simply could not understand or see through the man before him, much less sway his thoughts or stop his madness.
After a long silence, just as Uchiha Daiki was about to turn and leave, Shisui finally gathered the courage to ask, "Do we really have to do this, Daiki-senpai?"
"I still hope that the village and our clan—the whole of Konoha Village—can unite, that everyone can work together in harmony for the village's future. Wouldn't that be better?"

It was also clear that although Uchiha Shisui possessed great strength and extraordinary talent, he was a simple idealist.
He could not distinguish between ideals and reality. Even though he had participated in the ninja war, he still did not understand the cruelty of the real world.
Uchiha Daiki did not rush to criticize him. Instead, he turned around, spread his hands, and asked speechlessly, "Isn't the Uchiha Clan already following the path you just described?"

"I thought you should have seen things clearly after what happened today. Shisui, let me ask you again: who is shamelessly stirring up trouble everywhere, constantly provoking conflict for fear that Konoha might remain peaceful?"
"You can't answer, can you? Then let me tell you plainly—the real instigators are the village higher-ups. The ones led by Shimura Danzō, Mitokado Homura, and Utatane Koharu. They are all direct descendants of the Second Hokage's faction! You know that perfectly well, don't you?"
Uchiha Daiki's string of remarks left Uchiha Shisui unable to cope once again.
Not only because everything he said
