All these Kecleon were gnawing on the ores in the mine.
Kecleon strengthened the metal armor on their backs by eating ore. When hungry, they would even gnaw on bridges and railways.
Kecleon were extremely quiet while eating. The entire mine was filled only with rustling sounds. Watching them behave so quietly, Qing Wu found it hard to imagine that they could have anything to do with the cave riot.
Qing Wu led Aggron deeper through the cave, but then he heard the sobs of a child.
Following the light emitted by Plusle, Qing Wu approached and saw a small figure crouching alone in a corner of the dim cave. She held her head in both hands and trembled all over, looking utterly helpless.
"Mommy, Mommy..." The child's voice echoed through the cave.
The light in Plusle's eyes shone directly onto the small figure. It was a delicate little girl with a head of golden hair, as adorable as a doll. She was crying pitifully, crystal-clear tears sliding down her slightly pale cheeks one after another and landing on the cold ground.
When the little girl saw someone approaching, she squeezed her eyes shut and curled up slightly.
The sudden light in the darkness made her uncomfortable.

The little girl wore a safety helmet, and her white lace dress had become filthy.
