Not long afterward, the cave's power system was the first to resume operation, and the lights came back on. It took Qing Wu and Fujiwara quite a while to adjust.
Right afterward, Qing Wu heard a burst of hurried footsteps.
"Mr. Fujiwara, Mr. Fujiwara!" someone shouted from inside the cave.
"I'm here." Mr. Fujiwara lay on a rock inside the cave. He had just finished applying medicine and was unable to move around.
Hearing the response, a female police officer with blue-green hair tied in a ponytail and wearing a blue police uniform quickly ran over.
"Mr. Fujiwara, are you all right?" Officer Jenny asked anxiously, her willow-leaf brows slightly furrowed and a trace of worry showing in her resolute eyes.
"I won't die. It's all thanks to this young friend. Otherwise, the Team Magma members would have surrounded me and killed me here." Fujiwara sighed.
"I'll explain the details later. This was a planned riot organized by Team Magma. Let this young friend go to the police station and give a statement in my place." Mr. Fujiwara pointed at Qing Wu as he spoke to Officer Jenny.
"Father, Father." Teng Shu rushed in from outside the cave. Beside him was a chubby, honest-looking little boy with yellow skin—none other than Makishita Riki.
Makishita Riki looked like a fat child. Almost his entire body was yellow, his eyes were narrowed, and the ears atop his head looked as though they had been tied into a bow. He was adorable.
"Teng Shu, Teng Shu." When Mr. Fujiwara saw his son, tears filled his eyes.
Just now, he had truly replayed his entire life like a moving lantern and realized that he had shown far too little concern for his children.
By the time Qing Wu left the police station, it was
