"I don't think I've done anything to wrong Lady Athena. You're the one who developed ulterior motives, aren't you?" Lian Ji said bluntly, planting her hands on her hips.
"After killing me here, my forces will be left without a leader, and you'll be able to take them over naturally. Lady Athena probably only asked you to investigate whether I had any rebellious intentions." Like a little firecracker, Lian Ji rattled on and exposed Lan Ling's little scheme. Her short pink hair was especially eye-catching beneath the night sky.
"So what if I did? Today is the day you die." Lan Ling's face flushed after Lian Ji's words left her speechless. Her malicious thoughts were written plainly across her face, making her look like a hideous female ghost in the night.
"Jynx, kill her." Lan Ling spoke viciously.
"Damn it, Laiden locked onto the Spatial Coordinate. I have to break through the blockade before I can use Teleport. Damn!!!" Lian Ji was extremely annoyed. It was bad enough that she and Lan Ling usually fought to the death—now outside forces had interfered as well.
"Heh, you didn't expect that, before coming here, I borrowed an extremely powerful Pokémon to protect myself." Lian Ji looked smug as she pulled out a Poké Ball.
"Come out, Houndoom. Use Dark Pulse to break through the blockade." Lian Ji released Houndoom, which radiated a fierce, murderous aura.
"How do you have Ailian's Pokémon? Good, just as Lady Athena said—you really did secretly join another faction." Lan Ling smiled triumphantly, as though she had caught Lian Ji red-handed.
"Adding a crime to someone's charge when there's no crime to begin with." Lian Ji snorted coldly.
"Laiden, it's your turn." Lan Ling shouted at Laiden. Unexpectedly, after Lan Ling's loud roar, Laiden opened his bloodshot eyes
