Marshtomp and Mudkip also covered their ears with both hands, looking adorably dumbfounded.

Golbat seemed to have been frightened, blankly flapping its wings in midair.

A smile of impending victory appeared in Sharpedo's eyes. Its jaws snapped shut, and it seemed to feel Golbat's flesh and blood scattering between its teeth.

Unfortunately, Golbat's phantom shattered into several pieces within Sharpedo's mouth. It was merely an illusion caused by Golbat's incredible speed.

The instant Sharpedo closed its jaws, Golbat had used Aerial Ace, changing direction and flashing behind Sharpedo.
