The moment Alolan Golem appeared, countless enormous rocks suddenly materialized in the air and came crashing down toward it.
The blow left Alolan Golem dazed. In a fury, it immediately began spinning rapidly, firing countless chunks of metal from its body and smashing the rocks apart.

If he had just sent out another Pokémon, the result would have been a complete disaster. It probably would have been blasted to pieces the instant it appeared.
Alolan Golem looked very similar to an ordinary Golem, but there were also obvious differences.
Black, strip-like stones grew from the protrusions above Alolan Golem's eyes and from its upper lip.
A great deal of black iron sand clung to its chest, making it look like a beard. On its back was a device resembling a railgun launcher: a short black pillar of stone in the center, flanked by two taller black stones. The inward-facing sides of those stones were regularly set with golden Electric crystals.
Because the stones on its back could not be retracted into its body, Golem in the Alola Region could not curl into a ball and roll around.
Golem in the Alola Region could fire electrified rocks, and even a graze would cause paralysis. However, it could not fire rocks continuously. It would even use Geodude as ammunition.
"Come out, Aggron! I found you an opponent." Qing Wu sent out Aggron this time. He felt that this Alolan Golem was a worthy opponent for Aggron, since both were heavyweight Pokémon.
