After nearly three hours on the bus, Qing Wu finally returned to Kusaba City, a harbor city in the Kanto Region.
After getting off the bus, Qing Wu walked for nearly twenty minutes before reaching Kusaba City's harbor.
Huge cargo ships came and went through the port, thick white smoke billowing from their towering smokestacks. It was the vast amount of steam released during their voyages that propelled the ships forward.
Qing Wu passed through the berths for large cargo ships and walked toward the area where sightseeing yachts were docked.
Sightseeing yachts were a signature feature of Kusaba City. Tourists could spend a hefty sum to rent a yacht and head out to sea to hunt Pokémon.
Looking at the blue sky dotted with a few satin-like white clouds and the endless sea rolling with waves, with schools of fish surfacing from time to time, Qing Wu found it incredibly relaxing.
Tourists could choose to drive the yachts themselves, but they needed a Ship Driving License issued by the League.
Qing Wu needed to drive himself because he knew Dragon Island was still some distance from Kusaba City. He couldn't let anyone know Dragon Island existed. Otherwise, the Dragonite living there would face endless harassment from humans.
Qing Wu had only stumbled into Dragon Island in his previous life while being pursued. That was where he encountered that lonely Dragonite.
Qing Wu only remembered the general location and the scenery around Dragon Island. Moreover, the waters around Dragon Island were exceptionally dangerous, and those who went there rarely returned. If Dragonite hadn't risked its life to send him off the island, Qing Wu might have lived on Dragon Island for the rest of his life, and this life would never have happened.
What a gentle Dragonite it had been.
