Luo Yan’s forces battled Upper-tier Giant Beasts before a Nightmare Giant Beast, Li Long, appeared in the storm clouds. He sent the Profound Comprehension Realm Dragon Riders to face it while he flew Zhurong up to intercept it.

• Shan Jun rode the wind into Black Cloud Mountain's depths, carving a path through the Insect Tide with its Sea of Weapons.
• Shan Jun found a humanlike face woven from threadworms inside a mass of Nether Vein, and the mass broke apart as the creature emerged.
• The black-thread humanoid surrounded Shan Jun with a storm of threadworms, and its body re-formed after Shan Jun shattered it with the Sea of Weapons.
• Shan Jun trapped the humanoid in a Golden Tornado and cut it apart until it vanished.

Luo Yan led the Profound Comprehension Realm cultivators deeper into the forbidden zone to track Li Long, while the Advanced level dragon riders returned to Iron Horse Base. After discovering Li Long’s abandoned meal and encountering the Overlord Flying Beast Shusi, Luo Yan assigned the fight to Xia Yan’s group, but Ning Xi struck first and knocked Shusi from the sky.

• Luo Yan split the expedition, taking the Mystic Womb Realm and Profound Comprehension Realm cultivators toward the central region while the Advanced level dragon riders returned to base.

• Zhujian drew a starlight arrow as Shan Jun unleashed its Golden Wind, and the Black Orb formed a giant from its threadworms inside the cave.
