Ch. 1776Sacrificial Offering

Captain Luo Yan and the team interpreted an ancient mural as showing that Fire Rats had to be sacrificed to open Dragon Path, so he captured a group of them. The team set off with the offerings and reached a narrow passage in the valley, where a roar echoed ahead.

  • Jia Miao and Captain Luo Yan studied a mural depicting a Dragon Snake, a sacrificial ritual, and a heavenly god, and concluded that Fire Rats were the offerings needed to open Dragon Path.
  • Captain Luo Yan piloted Yao Yuan into a cave, where he subdued a young Fire Rat and an adult that attacked him.
  • Captain Luo Yan found an abandoned Ancient People settlement occupied by more than forty Fire Rats and captured over a dozen with the help of Yao Yuan and Old Vine.
  • Bai? and the team helped carry the unconscious Fire Rats, and Jia Miao and Lin Wei prepared to set out with them as offerings.
  • The team traveled through a deepening valley toward a narrow passage between cliffs, where a sound like a dragon's roar and a tiger's howl echoed ahead.

Ch. 1777Teng Snake

Luo Yan and the others sacrificed Fire Rats to draw out the creature blocking the wind tunnel beneath the cliff. The Teng Snake emerged and ate the rats, while rising groundwater weakened the updraft and opened a possible route forward.

  • After drones and mechas failed to cross the updraft, Luo Yan decided to sacrifice the Fire Rats at the stone-spike site.
  • Yang Kui impaled the Fire Rats on the spikes, and their blood flowed through the channels into the cavern.
  • Luo Yan and the others hid and waited as the ground shook, the wind weakened, and underground water began filling the abyss.
  • Luo Yan used Divine Treasure to see a giant Dragon Snake emerge from the cavern and climb over the cliff.
  • The Dragon Snake, identified as the unascended Teng Snake, pulled the Fire Rats from the spikes with its tentacles and ate them.
  • Luo Yan concluded that the Teng Snake had blocked the underground water outlet and that its emergence had let water fill the abyss and stop the updraft.

Ch. 1778Ingenious Design Beyond Nature

Luo Yan and the Exploration team crossed the abyss on a stone bridge activated by underground water, then faced attacks from the Teng Snake and a blood-red mist. Luo Yan protected the convoy with his Ultimate Skills as the enraged Teng Snake unleashed poisonous flames.

  • Luo Yan observed the Ancient People of Guixu's water-powered mechanisms build a stone bridge, and Jia Miao explained how the system worked.
  • Luo Yan ordered Bai?'s Earthly Hero Squad to lead the Exploration team across while he guarded the rear and warned that the Teng Snake was underwater.
  • The Teng Snake rammed the bridge, and Luo Yan chose not to kill it, hoping it would trouble the international team following them.
  • Crimson Lightning struck from the blood-red mist, but Mao Miaomiao and the Trickster, the Illusionist, protected the convoy.
  • Luo Yan used Flashing Splendor to split the mist's crocodile head, provoking the Teng Snake to attack with poisonous flames.
  • Luo Yan used Bloody Wind and Rain to absorb and sweep away the poisonous flames threatening the team on the bridge.

Ch. 1779Snake Ferocity

Luo Yan fought the Teng Snake on the stone bridge and wounded it, forcing it to retreat underwater. Afterward, Zaren and the Young Kai-Ming Beast reached the bridge, where the Teng Snake reappeared in the mist and Zaren summoned Artemis.

  • The Teng Snake fought Yao Yuan with gale-force wind, a ghostly figure, and a human-skin attack, but Luo Yan dodged its strikes and burned away the skin.
  • Luo Yan used Stars Shift and Ten Steps, One Kill to slash the Teng Snake's back, dispersing its ghostly figure and driving it underwater.
  • Luo Yan concluded that the Teng Snake had Overlord Level strength but lacked a Super Anti-membrane, then left the bridge.
  • Zaren and the Young Kai-Ming Beast arrived, and the tiger licked up the Teng Snake's blood while Zaren watched the dead Galling Worms.
  • The Teng Snake raised red mist around the bridge, and Zaren invoked Artemis, who appeared with her golden bow and hounds.

Ch. 1780Sacrifice

Zaren sacrificed his left hand and leg to Artemis, who used a golden arrow to make Teng Snake submit. After the Young Kai-Ming Beast pointed out that finding the Heavenly God mattered more than confronting Pulle, Zaren led Teng Snake into the valley, while Luo Yan’s team reached the palace they believed was the Sacrificial Ground.

  • Zaren offered Artemis his left hand and leg in exchange for her help controlling Teng Snake.
  • Artemis marked Zaren with golden runes, accepted his sacrifice, and struck Teng Snake with an arrow that made it submit.
  • Zaren started toward Pulle, but changed course after the Young Kai-Ming Beast indicated that finding the Heavenly God was more important.
  • Luo Yan’s team hurried up the mountain road as Lin Wei identified the palace ahead as the likely Sacrificial Ground.
  • Murong Xuan spotted the palace, and Luo Yan ordered the team to deploy drones for a routine inspection.

Ch. 1781Heavenly Palace

Luo Yan and the Guixu team used drones to survey a heavenly palace and discovered a Divine Remnant sealed inside amberlike jade, raising fears that it might be parasitized. Murals revealed the remnant’s role in an ancient war and showed Meiba above a second battle scene.

  • Luo Yan and the others deployed drones to map the palace, whose symmetrical halls, golden roofs, and rainbow-lit waterfalls astonished the team.
  • A drone found a seated Divine Remnant inside an amberlike jade mountain in the main hall, and Lin Wei warned that a Galling Worm or Ghost-faced Demon Moth might be parasitizing it.
  • Jia Miao said the team should try to drive out any parasite and destroy the remnant if necessary, so Freedom Wings could not use it.
  • A drone recorded a mural of an ancient battle featuring Yanfu’s giant beasts, the Heavenly Ghosts, the Ancient People of Guixu, and the deities, including the Divine Remnant wielding the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword.
  • The team discovered a second mural showing Meiba, marked by a golden eye, above a sea of clouds.

Ch. 1782Ghost Valley Phenomenon

The Exploration team reached the celestial palace in Guixu and made camp in its plaza after night fell. During the night, the Ghost Valley Phenomenon began, and Luo Yan saw an image of an Ancient Person turn toward him and smile sinisterly.

  • Luo Yan led the Exploration team to the celestial palace and opened its heavy doors to the plaza beyond.
  • Dr. Jia Miao explained that the palace could also have served as a sacrificial site, and the team set up camp for the night.
  • Luo Yan spoke with Bai? while eating, until Guo Simin spotted a huge translucent face outside the cockpit.
  • Ghostly images of Ancient People of Guixu appeared and proceeded toward the main hall, some carrying Exotic Beasts as sacrifices.
  • Luo Yan sensed one image watching him; it turned toward him, smiled, and let out a cold laugh.

Ch. 1783Ghost-faced Demon Moth

Luo Yan and the Exploration team fought off Ghost-faced Demon Moths and Galling Worms that appeared in the palace complex. After Jia Miao found Nether Particles in the moth remains, Luo Yan concluded that the insects came from Yanfu and were connected to Meiba.

  • A Ghost-faced Demon Moth revealed itself among the Ancient People's phantoms, and more moths flew toward the camp.
  • The moths dropped eggs that released Galling Worms as the soldiers, Yao Yuan, Guo Simin, and Lan Xiao fought them off.
  • Luo Yan discovered that the moths' ghostly figures were made of tiny flying insects carrying Yin Sha, and identified the creatures as coming from Yanfu.
  • Luo Yan used the Three Talents Killing Momentum to summon Southern Bright Leaving Fire Dragon Snakes, driving the surviving moths away through an anchor point.
  • Jia Miao reported finding Nether Particles in the moth remains, and Luo Yan linked the demon insects to Meiba and Yanfu.

Ch. 1784The Dao Through the Self

Captain Luo Yan and the scholars concluded that a Bug Nest had likely been unsealed in Zone 22 and entered the palace to recover the Divine Remnant. When Captain Luo Yan tried to check the god’s body for parasites, his Divine Treasure could not penetrate its Dao, and he noticed that the Remnant was preserved in Dragon Haze Jade unlike other gods’ bodies.

  • Dr. Jia Miao proposed that Yanfu insects had infiltrated Guixu by parasitizing Ancient People or gods, while Captain Luo Yan concluded that Zone 22 contained a Bug Nest they would need to destroy.
  • Captain Luo Yan scanned the area around the camp with the Golden Eyes of Enlightenment and confirmed that no Galling Worms were nearby.
  • The next day, Captain Luo Yan’s team escorted Dr. Jia Miao and the scholars up the enormous staircase and into the palace, where they found the Divine Remnant.
  • Captain Luo Yan used his Divine Treasure to inspect the Remnant but saw only golden radiance embodying the god’s Dao.
  • Captain Luo Yan identified the surrounding amber jade as Dragon Haze Jade, which could preserve a corpse, and learned from Dr. Jia Miao that other Divine Remnants had not needed such protection.

Ch. 1785Divine Wu Hui

Luo Yan and Jia Miao investigated the Divine Remnant and examined a mural linking Meiba to the Yanfu insects. Behind a door in the main hall, they discovered nine Stone Tablets that Jia Miao identified as divine cultivation methods left by a god named Wu Hui.

  • Luo Yan suspected Dragon Haze Jade had been used to suppress a demonic Divine Remnant, so Jia Miao proposed that the team explore the palace for information before touching it.
  • Luo Yan left the Earthly Hero Squad to guard the Divine Remnant while Bai? sent Black Wu to monitor the hall, then led the Exploration team deeper inside.
  • Jia Miao and Luo Yan examined a mural of Meiba, and the scholars identified Ghost-faced Demon Moths laying eggs that produced Galling Worms.
  • Jia Miao asked Luo Yan to open a large door at the rear of the hall, and Yao Yuan pushed it open to reveal nine Stone Tablets.
  • Jia Miao recognized the Stone Tablets as methods for cultivating divinity left by a god the Ancient People of Guixu called Wu Hui.

Ch. 1786Sacrifice

Lin Wei identified Wu Hui as a fire deity and the Stone Tablets as a possible method for cultivating divinity while scholars recorded their writing. Meanwhile, Colonel Pruhler prepared Freedom Wings’ covert mission to recover or destroy the Divine Remnant, and Byrne warned that sacrifices could turn them into vessels for the gods before preparing an offering to Kule.

  • Lin Wei explained that Wu Hui had served as Zhurong, the office of Fire Official, and that the deity’s divine path was likely connected to fire.
  • Jia Miao ordered the scholars to copy the Stone Tablets so their writing could be translated into a method for advancing cultivators with primordial spirits.
  • Colonel Pruhler spotted the Strategic Affairs Department’s team in the Heavenly Palace and briefed his troops to recover or destroy the Divine Remnant, capture Zaren if possible, and conceal their identities.
  • Byrne objected to the mission and warned that sacrifices could bring divine power but risk turning their performers into vessels for the gods.
  • Pruhler burned the soldiers’ identification plates, and Byrne gathered candles, a silver dagger, herbs, gemstones, and crystals to perform a sacrifice to the Angel of Time, Kule.

Ch. 1787Ritual and Divine Grace

Byrne performed a sacrifice ritual and received Divine Grace that let him use Time Loop three times, while Puler sacrificed an arm to obtain God Armor. Freedom Wings began an operation to retrieve the Divine Remnant as Zaren approached the palace, hoping to use it as an offering.

  • Byrne explained that God's Emissaries borrowed divine power by putting their bodies up as collateral and paying interest to the gods.
  • Byrne completed a ritual to Zoltu Kull and received three uses of Time Loop as Divine Grace.
  • Puler revealed that he had sacrificed his left arm to obtain two uses of the randomly chosen God Armor.
  • Puler ordered Freedom Wings to distract the Strategic Affairs Department while he and the lieutenant searched for and moved the Divine Remnant.
  • Zaren rode the Teng Snake toward the palace with the Young Kai-Ming Beast and planned to sacrifice the Divine Remnant before Puler and the Strategic Affairs Department.

Ch. 1788The Mystery of Falling into Demonic Cultivation

Jia Miao interpreted murals suggesting that Wu Hui taught the Ancient People before falling into demonic corruption, while Freedom Wings infiltrated the hall and Teng Snake attacked the Divine Remnant. Yao Yuan arrived just as Teng Snake’s poisonous flames threatened the Dragon Haze Jade and hurled the beast into a wall.

  • Jia Miao told Luo Yan that Wu Hui had returned wounded, taught the Ancient People, then seemingly slaughtered them before they sealed his body in Dragon Haze Jade.
  • Bai? warned that Freedom Wings was attacking the main hall and took Simin and Xiaohui outside, leaving Xia Yan and Mao Miaomiao to guard the Divine Remnant.
  • Mary used Shadow Shuttle to bring Pruhler and Byrne into the main hall, where they prepared to act against the Divine Remnant.
  • Teng Snake burst through the roof and attacked Xia Yan and Mao Miaomiao’s mechs, then drove toward the platform and spewed poisonous flames at the Dragon Haze Jade.
  • Yao Yuan lifted Teng Snake by its tail and hurled it into a wall, shattering the reliefs.

Ch. 1789Thunder Holy Armor

Luo Yan drew Teng Snake away from the main hall while Colonel Pruhler and Captain Byrne moved toward the Divine Remnant. Zaren reached the platform and began a ritual to sacrifice it to Artemis, but Pruhler summoned a Divine Armor bestowed by Hephaestus: Zeus's Thunder Holy Armor.

  • Luo Yan used Yao Yuan to lure Teng Snake out of the main hall, while White and the other mechas kept Freedom Wings' forces occupied outside.
  • Colonel Pruhler and Captain Byrne ran toward the Divine Remnant as the Young Kai-Ming Beast ambushed them, and Pruhler sent Byrne to hold it off.
  • Zaren arranged a Sacrifice Ritual for the Divine Remnant and cut his palm to offer it to Artemis.
  • Colonel Pruhler summoned Hephaestus's Divine Grace, which formed a massive golden suit of Zeus's Thunder Holy Armor around him.

Ch. 1790Fire Yang True Lord

Pulle interrupted Zaren’s ritual with the Thunder Holy Armor and tried to seize the Divine Remnant, while Luo Yan rushed to help Xia Yan and Mao Miaomiao. After the armor’s lightning awakened Yan Bo in Luo Yan, the Divine Spirit transformed into the Fire Yang True Lord, and the Dragon Haze Jade began to crack.

  • Pulle used the Thunder Holy Armor to smash the ritual platform, stopping Zaren’s ceremony and driving Zaren off it.
  • Mao Miaomiao and Xia Yan attacked Pulle, but their abilities failed to harm the Divine Armor.
  • Luo Yan sent Bai? to fight Teng Snake and flew to the main hall, where he blocked Pulle’s lightning strike with Yao Yuan’s Xuanwu Great Shield.
  • The lightning’s divinity affected Luo Yan, awakening Yan Bo and transforming the Divine Spirit into the Fire Yang True Lord.
  • The Fire Yang True Lord’s blazing presence filled the main hall as cracks spread across the Dragon Haze Jade.

Ch. 1791Remnant Awakening

Byrne trapped Yao Yuan in a Time Loop while Pulle broke the Dragon Haze Jade surrounding the Divine Remnant. The awakened remnant struck down Pulle, killed the Young Kai-Ming Beast, and set Teng Snake ablaze, leaving the hall’s survivors facing its rampage.

  • Byrne summoned Kuller and used the Time Loop Divine Grace to send Yao Yuan back to an earlier moment in his fight with Teng Snake.
  • Pulle used the Thunder Holy Armor to shatter the Dragon Haze Jade and expose the Divine Remnant, despite Jia Miao’s warning.
  • The Divine Remnant opened its eyes, knocked Pulle and the Thunder Holy Armor through the hall roof, and rose from the platform.
  • The Divine Remnant decapitated the Young Kai-Ming Beast, releasing Galling Worms from its ears as Zaren watched from behind a pillar.
  • The Divine Remnant pinned Teng Snake with the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword and burned its body and soul with divine flames.

Ch. 1792Samadhi True Fire

Luo Yan remembered that the battle was repeating in a Time Loop and summoned Fire Yang True Lord, whose Dao Art destroyed the loop. He learned that the awakened Divine Remnant was likely the sealed Heavenly God Wu Hui, while Puler charged toward him to claim him for his side.

  • Luo Yan recognized the recurring events and summoned Fire Yang True Lord to burn away Bane’s Time Loop.
  • Luo Yan left Bane behind and hurried outside, where he saw Teng Snake dying in the Divine Remnant’s flames.
  • Luo Yan identified the flames as Samadhi True Fire, Wu Hui’s divine path, and explained that the Dragon Haze Jade may have sealed Wu Hui rather than a remnant.
  • The Divine Remnant retrieved the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword and recoiled from Fire Yang True Lord.
  • Puler stood up in the Thunder Holy Armor and charged at the Divine Remnant, insisting it belonged to his side.

Ch. 1793Zeus Armor

Colonel Pruhler fought the Divine Remnant with the Thunder Holy Armor, but its Samadhi True Fire and Pine Pattern Ancient Sword overwhelmed him. After Pruhler called on Hephaestus to use the armor’s remaining authorization, Hephaestus restored and enhanced it with a projection of Zeus’s complete armament.

  • Colonel Pruhler attacked the Divine Remnant with a thunder spear, but the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword knocked the Thunder Holy Armor aside.
  • The Divine Remnant’s Samadhi True Fire ignited Pruhler’s thunder, and Luo Yan realized the corrupted heavenly god used his divine path crudely and only in bursts.
  • The Divine Remnant’s sword damaged the Thunder Holy Armor and severed one of its arms, forcing Pruhler to call on Hephaestus and offer his limbs for more power.
  • Hephaestus appeared behind the armor, repaired its damage, and equipped it with a projection of Zeus’s complete armament, including lightning horses and a chariot.

Ch. 1794Thunder Heavenly Army

Pler summoned the Thunder Heavenly Army with the Zeus Armor, but the Divine Remnant burned through much of the force with Samadhi True Fire before its Pine Pattern Ancient Sword shattered. After Yao Yuan retrieved the awakened sword fragments, the Divine Remnant unleashed a curse technique fueled by Yin Sha, leading Jia Miao to suspect that a Yanfu creature had parasitized the divine god.

  • Pler activated the Zeus Armor and summoned the Thunder Heavenly Army to charge the Divine Remnant.
  • The Divine Remnant swept the Thunder Heavenly Army with Samadhi True Fire, burning its warriors and the surrounding palaces until the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword shattered.
  • Luo Yan discovered that two sword fragments held an awakened spirit, and Yao Yuan seized them while the Divine Remnant was driven away.
  • The Divine Remnant released a curse technique powered by Yin Sha and sent blood-colored strands toward the Zeus Armor.
  • Luo Yan told the others what he had discovered, and Jia Miao concluded that a Yanfu creature might have parasitized the divine god.

Ch. 1795Attempting Resonance

Luo Yan and Bai? tried to seize the Divine Remnant after Pulle’s Zeus Armor failed, and Luo Yan began resonating with it while Fire Yang True Lord held it back. The resonance drew Luo Yan into a vision of a smoky battlefield covered in flames and corpses.

  • The Divine Remnant attacked Pulle’s Zeus Armor with mist threads and mist insects until Pulle ran out of strength and the armor vanished.
  • Luo Yan ordered Bai? to control the Divine Remnant, and Bai? used the liberated White Bone Weirdness to trap it inside a white bone castle.
  • The Divine Remnant broke out of the castle, and Luo Yan summoned Fire Yang True Lord to attack it with a vast sea of fire.
  • While the Divine Remnant was temporarily suppressed, Luo Yan resonated with it and saw a battlefield filled with smoke, flames, and corpses.
