The Heavenly Emperor Di Shitian Slays Arhat Fuhu, While the White-Clad True Man Takes in a Disciple

Di Shitian looked at Great Brahma with utmost seriousness.

"If you think my actions are wrong, Senior Brother, you can report me directly to the Two Western Saints. I certainly won't blame you."

Great Brahma immediately shook his head with a bitter smile.

"We risked life and death for the Western Teachings, only to end up in such a state. We really can't blame anyone but ourselves."

Di Shitian said no more. Using the excuse of spreading the teachings, he left Spirit Mountain.

After traveling east for several days, Di Shitian arrived at a great city in the Eastern Continent called Nine Heavens.

Nine Heavens City was the capital of the Eight Desolations Kingdom and was exceedingly prosperous.

The Western Teachings had built a temple here called White Horse Temple.

The person enshrined in the temple was none other than Di Shitian.

When Di Shitian arrived at White Horse Temple, its abbot, his disciple Kasyapa, immediately bowed deeply upon seeing his master.

"Master, I never expected you to honor us with your presence."

Kasyapa's delight was plainly visible.

"Kasyapa, you've worked hard. You've managed White Horse Temple very well."

Di Shitian looked extremely gratified.

"Master, Arhat Fuhu came yesterday and told me that White Horse Temple was to be taken into the sect and managed uniformly. From now on, we're to enshrine only statues of the Two Western Saints!"

Kasyapa's expression grew solemn.

"Hmm?"

Di Shitian's gaze immediately turned cold. This is going too far.

"Where did Arhat Fuhu go?"

This Arhat Fuhu had originally been nothing more than a child attendant at Daoist Jieyin's side. After becoming an arhat, he had grown hostile toward Di Shitian and repeatedly provoked him.

Di Shitian had been unwilling to stoop to his level, partly out of consideration for the Two Western Saints.
