"All right, I won't hold it against you for sneaking a taste. Go get busy first." Richard waved at Pandora. "I'm preparing to head out too. I'll be back in a while. Watch the house while I'm gone."
"Okay." Pandora obediently nodded and started toward the exit of the Main Laboratory. When she reached the door, she stopped as though remembering something, then turned and asked, "By the way, Richard, you're going to that weekly meeting again, right?"
"Yes."
"Could you ask if anyone is selling something really sturdy that can be used as a weapon, like Tinwood?" Pandora asked hopefully. "Tinwood left, and I always feel like there'll never be a better weapon than him."
"You mean you want another Long-Lived Species to use as your weapon?" Richard's expression turned slightly strange.
"If there is one, that would naturally be best," Pandora said seriously.
"But don't you know why Tinwood left?" Richard exhaled.
"Wasn't it because you arranged for him to undergo Labor Reform in the forest and use some kind of 'work points' to reduce his contract term?" Pandora asked, somewhat puzzled.
"No, that was only one reason." Richard shook his head. "The other reason was that you're too strong. Even though Tinwood strengthened his body many times, he still felt that one day, sooner or later, you'd swing him hard enough to snap him in half."
Pandora's eyes widened. After thinking for a moment, she said, "So you mean I need a Long-Lived Species stronger than Tinwood as a weapon to meet my needs."
"No, I mean it'll probably be hard to find anything suitable as your weapon in the entire world, let alone in a small city like Faro. So don't get your hopes up too high."
