Pandora lived an isolated, monotonous life in the forest under Gregory's care. Gregory frequently moved her between locations for reasons she did not understand; her only regular companions were Gregory and forest creatures she tamed, including a black bear, cheetah, and wild boar. 671

Richard first encountered her as an aloof purple-haired girl at Gregory's black castle. She initially ignored his attempts to communicate in multiple language families, though she later warned him not to wander at night, revealing that she could speak the common language. 33 40

After Gregory was killed by a mysterious Wizard, Pandora sought revenge with Richard's assistance and left the forest with him. Her initial resistance to Richard gradually became acceptance, then a desire to become useful to him rather than merely fight or sleep. 671

During her travels, Pandora developed from a bored, solitary child into Richard's companion, student, and collaborator.
