After spending several minutes, Richard finished reading Pandora's observation records.
He looked up at Pandora and could not help shaking his head. "I didn't spot the special information in the records, but... why do I get the feeling that you wanted to kill him?"
"Ha! I didn't." Pandora widened her eyes and said with an innocent expression, "I only wanted to avenge Little Bell and let him try the potion. Of course, if he really died, then he was just unlucky."
Richard shook his head again, looking at the screaming Barry. "Then he's been fairly lucky not to die so far. That's good. I happen to have something I need him to help me with."
No sooner had Richard finished speaking than Barry's screams abruptly ceased. Then his eyes rolled back, his body swayed, and with a bang, he fell to the ground without moving.
"Dead?!" Pandora quickly asked, her eyes lighting up slightly.
Richard froze for a moment, then walked over, spread out his senses, and examined him. He looked up and said, "He isn't dead. A sudden lack of blood supply to the brain and abnormal electrical discharges caused him to faint. It should be one of the new side effects of No. 23 Potion. It needs to be recorded."
As he spoke, he took the Goose Feather Quill from the table beside him and wrote down a line on the paper.
"Ha—so that's it—" Pandora sounded somewhat disappointed.
"Alright." Richard put away the observation records, dragged Barry up, and walked outside. He said to Pandora, "The suffering he's endured should be enough to repay his mistake. Let him go."
"Next, it's my turn to deal with him." With that, Richard walked out the door.
Pandora shrugged and pursed her lips as she looked at the Golden Retriever
