"Screech! Screech!"
A sound like a blade slicing through aged leather rang out. Richard's palm, wrapped in dense energy, slowly cut down one side of the oval object.
During the cutting process, Richard gained a full appreciation of just how tough the oval object was—its defenses might not have matched the shell of the Super-Breeding Species Mother Insect from before, but they were not far off. No wonder the person trapped inside had been unable to escape.
He just did not know what kind of person was trapped inside.
"Riiip!"
With a sharp sound, Richard finally cut all the way to the bottom of the oval object with all his strength, completely splitting open one side. He pulled the opening apart, and the next moment, a young girl's figure tumbled out.
"Bang!"
Bi Bi had struggled for too long inside and was somewhat drained of strength. After breaking free from the Spider Web, she dropped directly to her knees. She kept coughing, "Cough, cough, cough," gasping for air. It took her quite a while to recover somewhat.
When she looked up, she met Richard's scrutinizing gaze.
"Who are you?" Richard asked. "How did you end up here and get trapped?"
"Uh, my name is Bi Bi." Bi Bi introduced herself, looking somewhat grateful. "I came into this forest chasing someone. I wandered in by mistake and ran into a really annoying big bug. I wanted to leave, but it would not allow it, so I had no choice but to fight it. In the end, I lost and got trapped. I really have you to thank for this. If you had not rescued me, I do not know how long I would have been stuck there. Forget playing around—even tracking my target and completing my mission would have been impossible."
