Though some of the styles looked rather strange, he learned after asking that they had once been part of the ransom sent by the Sika Kingdom to redeem officers and nobles who had been defeated and captured under Soren. In any case, it was clear that considerable thought had gone into this residence. Soren had not slighted him, this suddenly appeared Command Consultant, and had shown him the respect his title warranted.
Considering that Soren had also accepted his suggestion at the previous highest military intelligence meeting without voicing any objection, Richard seemed to possess more authority than he had imagined.
Simply put, it seemed that what he said actually carried some weight.
