A large contingent of cavalry clad in Dark-black Iron Armor raced to the foot of Blue Water Mountain, numbering several hundred. Killing intent rose from their bodies; they were imposing even without anger. At a glance, they were clearly not comparable to second-line troops that had never seen battle.
Perhaps a single soldier like this could not defeat ten second-line soldiers, but a force made up of such soldiers could rout ten second-line units with only a few charges.
This was an elite front-line cavalry regiment! Upon reaching the foot of Blue Water Mountain, the cavalry commander at the lead tugged on his reins and reined in his horse. He casually swept his eyes over the second-line soldiers who had climbed Blue Water Mountain again to begin a second search, paying them little mind. With a wave of his hand, he directed his men behind him to spread out and search the vast area north of Blue Water Mountain.
The ordinary soldiers on Blue Water Mountain looked on in confusion. One turned to his captain and asked, "Hey, Captain, who are those people?"
"Who else could they be? They didn't charge over and chop us to death the moment they saw us, so they're definitely not enemies. If they're not enemies, then they're naturally allies!" the soldier captain said irritably.
