Bi Bi completely failed to understand Richard or Soren's way of life. In her eyes, both Richard and Soren lived far too dreary a life—dreary to a terrifying degree.
What was the point of life if one gave up having fun? Before, she had been locked underground and couldn't get out, with no one to play with. There had been nothing she could do about that.
But now she was out and had gained her freedom, so she had to play to her heart's content and experience all sorts of fresh, new things.
People like Richard and Soren clearly had no restrictions, yet they locked themselves up and stayed busy every day. They were practically lunatics. She would rather die than become someone like them.
The only thing she needed to do was embrace the wonderful world.
With that thought, Bi Bi appeared inside Eden Garden.
By now, she was already very familiar with Eden Garden's environment. She looked around, spotted a living creature moving nearby, and swiftly gave chase.
The creature grew wary upon seeing her approach and tried to flee, but how could it possibly escape? Though Bi Bi's head was still a little dizzy from the collision, she was no slower than usual. In just a few steps, she caught up behind it, stomped the ground, leaped swiftly over its body, and landed in front of it with her legs spread wide, blocking its path with great pride.
"Hey, little thing, trying to run? Where do you think you're running to? Wag your tail and beg for mercy, and I'll let you go!" Bi Bi said spiritedly.
