Such cowardice?
Richard was somewhat surprised. By his estimation, these were very likely several top-tier Immortal Singular Species—the kind regarded by Ancient Wizards as enemies of all humanity during the era of the Ancient Wizards.
Logically speaking, most of their seals had already been opened. They should have been capable of forcibly breaking free and fighting him.
Yet he had not even used any abilities on them, and they had simply gone quiet.
Giving up resistance? "Are you sure you won't come out?" Richard murmured. "Then you might regret it later."
Several enormous Black Shadows: "..." There was no sound at all, as if they did not exist. Even if they did, they were nothing more than background scenery.
"Fine, then." Richard sighed softly and ignored them. After all, his priority was Burning Wind, the Truth Society's chief steward.
He needed to obtain a way to contact Heaven from him. Only after successfully contacting Heaven could he meet that True God, see what he looked like, and clarify a few matters.
As for Singular Species, they had research value at most. That value had been relatively higher three or four years ago, but now whether it was High Spirit research, the Sun in a Bottle, or anything else, all of it far surpassed them. Those things represented the true direction of the future. Singular Species lagged behind by at least two levels and could no longer stir his interest enough to specifically allocate resources for their study.
Then...
With a flip of his hand, Richard took out the Space Suitcase, "Eden Garden," and tapped it open.
A figure walked out from within. It was the Lich Old Man, whom he had not seen for a long time.
He looked somewhat gaunt, and much of his white hair had fallen out.
