Time passed in Heaven.
Hour after hour after hour. Though there was no sun in the sky, soft light of unknown origin continued to fill the land, showing no sign of dimming.
If the Wizard World was the Dark Era, then Heaven was the Light Era.
If the Wizard World was eternal night, then Heaven was eternal day.
They were complete opposites.
Under normal circumstances, Richard would have liked to study the way Heaven's inhabitants lived and the reason behind its eternal daylight. But given the unusual circumstances, he did not let himself be distracted and continued moving forward through space in a searching pattern.
In this state, his speed was relatively slow. Still, after several hours, he reached a special place.
It was an enormous stone wall.
The wall was absurdly vast, rising at an almost perfectly vertical ninety-degree angle. Its edge could not be seen to the left, to the right, or above.
It was pitch-black throughout, its stones seamlessly fused together. It looked like a Black Wall dividing the world, or perhaps the boundary barrier of this plane.
Near the stone wall, the air twisted. Richard ended his spatial traversal and stepped out.
His feet touched the ground. He studied the stone slabs carefully and caught a strong earthy odor rushing toward him, like something buried beneath the earth for thousands or tens of thousands of years had been excavated. It carried an extremely ancient feeling.
He continued examining it, taking a slight step back. From the wall, he made out some blurred yet heavy lines.
When the thickest lines were connected, they clearly outlined two Giant Doors on the stone wall.
Each door was over a hundred meters wide and more than one hundred and fifty meters tall. An ordinary person standing before them would immediately
