The title of this volume was Conversation with God.
I wonder how many of you guessed that the god Richard was going to speak with was not the one from the Truth Society, but the true God of Creation from the real Heaven.
By now, the story's larger backdrop has revealed its second layer—the first being the death of the Truth Society's god. Next comes the third layer.
What will the third layer contain? You can all take a guess.
In any case, it won't be the kind where "the protagonist opens his eyes and realizes it was all a dream."
Lastly, an update notice.
To be honest, having written this far, I was feeling a little tired—mentally tired. But if I forced an ending now, I would probably get beaten to death. Besides, I wanted to give this book the ending it deserved—one I had planned from the very beginning—whether it turned out good or bad. Only then would this story be complete.
As the saying went: Why were people always so obsessed with every story having an ending? Because without an ending, a story would be no different from life.
I still didn't know where the road of my own life would lead. I thought many readers might also, at times, feel lost in one way or another.
I couldn't help myself with that, nor could I help you. All I could do was share with you a story from my mind.
