Two chairs stood more than a meter apart, with Richard and the Lich Old Man seated on them respectively.
Richard looked at the Lich Old Man and spoke. "Go on."
"Go on about what?" the Lich Old Man asked. As he spoke, he kept rubbing the many swollen, bruised spots on his body, baring his teeth in pain. Pandora had knocked out half his teeth during her rough treatment, making his voice leak air and sound rather comical.
Richard spread his hands and looked calmly at the Lich Old Man. "Start with the basics. I already know that you are the soul inside the Lich Phylactery, so tell me your name. The previous owner of your current body was named Ford. You should have a different name."
"Ford?" The Lich Old Man curled his lip, whether from pain or pure disdain. His voice continued to whistle as he said, "Th-this name is stupid enough. Every character reeks of foolishness and vulgarity. My name is far better than his—elegant and noble."
"And that is?" Richard asked.
"I'll tell you. My name is... hey!" Halfway through, the Lich Old Man suddenly froze. His expression gradually stiffened, and his eyes stopped moving.
A few seconds later, the Lich Old Man scratched his head and said with some distress, "Hey, I seem to have slept for too long. I can't remember what my old name was."
"You can't have no impression of it at all, can you?" Richard said.
"I do have a little impression. It seems... seems somewhat similar to the name you mentioned earlier... It was called..."
"Ford?"
"Ah, I remember now!" The Lich Old Man excitedly slapped his thigh, only to touch an injury and suck in a sharp breath. "My previous name
