After a moment of silence, Harry looked at Kathy strangely. "You were going to reject him sooner or later?"

"Of course." Kathy said seriously, "You and I are both going to become Wizards. How could we let emotions hold us back? Of course, if we have complete control, there's no harm in experiencing it a little."

"So, according to you, Wizards don't need emotions?"

"Obviously." Kathy said with certainty. "Look at Teacher Vicki and Wizard Richard. Which one of them has a partner?"

"But—" Harry instinctively felt that something was wrong, yet he could not put his finger on what it was.

Just then, a servant suddenly ran in from outside and said to them, "Young Master Harry, Miss Kathy, someone is looking for you outside."

"Who?" Kathy asked.

"He said his name is Jia Lie, and he came from Blue Lake Manor," the servant answered.

Harry abruptly looked up, his eyes lighting up. "Could Teacher have come?" With that, he quickly ran outside, with Kathy following behind him.

The two soon rushed outside and found Jia Lie in the corridor.

Harry asked, "Jia Lie, how is it? Has Teacher come?"

"I'm very sorry, Young Master Harry, Miss Kathy." Jia Lie spread his hands and said, "My master has matters to attend to, so he cannot come to Marquis Wei An's banquet."

"Today is the Agricultural God Festival. Doesn't Teacher take a break even during the Agricultural God Festival?" Kathy frowned, somewhat puzzled.

"I don't know about that, but my master did say he had matters to deal with. Also, he asked me to tell you both that he will not be able to teach you for some time. If you want to study, you can read the notes he gave you."
