Rebirth and Waiting

Halfway through speaking, Bobobo Wei Qi heard a sound above him. He quickly looked up, and his eyes widened slightly as he saw Richard slowly descending from high in the air.

Richard was wearing Achilles Armor, its surface covered in dense cracks. Achilles Armor was supposed to be golden and gleaming, as if cast from gold. Now it had dulled into a murky grayish white, like cheap translucent plastic, looking as though it could shatter at any moment. It was on the verge of collapse.

There was no helping it.

After Richard had used the Gloves of Extinction to destroy Giant Tree Xi Mu, the Energy Storm had immediately spiraled out of control and erupted. He had had no chance to flee outward and could only escape upward.

Even while fleeing upward at maximum speed, he had still been struck by the energy blast. Two consecutive sets of Achilles Armor had been destroyed, and only the third had barely held out. It had truly been perilous.

Fortunately, this was the final outcome. There would be no more twists.
