Arc 1Warden of the River

Su Mu grew stronger as River Warden, collected strange companions and treasures, and repeatedly sent a mysterious black coffin back upstream. The arc left him investigating a treasure that had sparked a fight between Little Mahi and Kong Yao.

  • Su Mu was struck by lightning while fishing and woke in another world, where the River Guardian System gave him control over water and bound him to the river.
  • Su Mu met Han Xiaopao, charged him for passage, and took a loan agreement in exchange for letting him cross.
  • Su Mu earned Favor Points by maintaining the river, improved his abilities, and began contracting creatures such as Little Mahi and Kong Yao to help him find treasures.

Su Mu strengthened his cultivation and charged travelers and the Four Emperors for crossing the River of Time, while the Four Emperors returned home after fifty thousand years away. The arc left Su Mu exploring a strange stone bridge and tasting a petal from an unusual flower.

  • Su Mu broke through into the Transformation Spirit Realm, discovered he had cultivated the Heart Divine Treasury, and fused the Supreme Bone with his Golden Bone.
  • Su Mu raised the Stone Yue Beast from a crab egg, while the Gray-robed Man’s deduction revealed that a powerful figure had seized the Yuan Kui Realm and led to the declaration of the Seven Realms.
  • Lin Tong warned the Realm Lords not to investigate the vanished realms, then left for the Azure Domain as Void Hands seized three more realms.

Arc 3River Warden Ascendant

Su Mu grew stronger through rare plants, river creatures, and encounters on the River of Time, while emperors and cultivators elsewhere pursued ascension. The arc ended with Su Mu facing Xu Que after Xu Que attacked him with three worlds.

  • Su Mu killed the Treasure Crocodile, found an unquenchable Fire Brazier inside it, and used its meat to advance through the Tribulations Realm.
  • Su Mu contracted the Chaos Golden Spirit, rescued creatures lost in the fog, and found a peach tree beyond the waterfall.
  • Su Mu ate a Spirit Peach, gained a second dantian, and helped the Golden Ant cross the stone bridge before Little Mahi and Kong Yao brought him a mysterious compass.
