At the newly discovered ruins, beside the Bloodline Sacrifice Array.

"The sect sent us to the Demon Cave just to guard this place?"

"Will Earth Demons come here?"

A somewhat plump disciple asked in confusion.

Most of those who had been arranged to enter the Demon Cave ahead of time had assumed they were meant to occupy part of the territory first, in preparation for dealing with the Earth Demon race.

Yet once inside the Demon Cave, they had been split up. Most had been assigned to these newly discovered ruins, supposedly to prevent Earth Demon attacks, and told to remain cautious and keep watch!

"The arrangements have already been made. Just follow orders!"

"Stop overthinking everything!"

Seeing this, someone beside him glanced over and spoke.

"If no Earth Demons attack this place, even better. We can complete the mission safely!"

The person beside him continued.

Not everyone could disregard life and death and charge forward bravely in the face of danger. Most people's instinct was to flee.

Naturally, a relatively safe mission was better.

These people had entered the Demon Cave because they had no choice. Very few had volunteered.
