The Demon turned hostile without warning. He struck the ground with his Magic Staff, and two Magic Arrays appeared beside them, firing several chains that tightly bound them both.
Mira struggled a few times but could not break free. Anxiously, she said, "Can you even handle this? Why do I feel like you're not a very reliable mage?"
"Ah~ This is my first time taking a job, so I'm inevitably a little inexperienced. Please bear with me!"

Yun Feiyang raised his head and spat out a black whirlwind. It became a shockwave that swallowed the lightning before tearing the two Magic Arrays apart.
The Demon's expression changed, and he turned to flee!
"How could such a pathetic restraint trap me!"
Magic Power surged, shattering the chains around him. With a casual slash, he freed Mira as well.
"We're saved!"
Mira let out a breath of relief, then immediately flew into a rage. "You're so strong, so why didn't you break free earlier and kill him?"
"Who do you think I was doing it for? You were the one getting in my way! I told you not to follow me, but you wouldn't listen!"
He was worried about me. He was afraid I'd be in danger, wasn't he?
Hmph, hmph. I'll forgive you!
"Oh no~ He ran away. Hurry and chase him!"
"No need to rush. He's not that strong. He can't get away!"
The two chased after him, following the lingering traces of Magic in the air until they reached a room.
"Mage, let me give you some advice. Leave this place!"
After saying that, a Magic Array appeared beneath the Demon's feet. He flashed and vanished.
"Oh~ A Teleportation Array. I didn't expect him to know that too!"
The two ran over, but the Teleportation Array had already disappeared.
"Hey~ Didn't you say he couldn't get away?"
