Laxus held out his hand. "Join forces with me. We'll discard the useless trash and build a Guild made entirely of strong people, making Fairy Tail the number one Guild in Fiore!"

"Why? Don't you think the current Guild is weak? That Old Man bears the title of strongest, yet he leads a bunch of trash. How can that live up to his name as one of the Ten Great?"

Laxus said fervently, "My goal is to surpass him and reach the pinnacle, then take over Fairy Tail and make it the true number one!"

"Don't you think that goal is great?"

"Come on. I need more partners like you. Join me!"

Yun Feiyang sighed. "What a pain."

"What is trash? What is strength? What's your definition of it? Power?"

"Isn't that what it is?"

"By your standards, aside from Gildarts and the Guild Master, who in the current Guild could be called strong? If you drove them all away, would there even be anyone left in the Guild? How would that be any different from disbanding it?"
