Swish, swish, swish...

"Little Ball, are you ready?"

Moss sprinted all the way home and began shouting the moment she rushed into the cave.

She had already used their contract to tell Little Ball to pack up first while she was on the way, all so they wouldn't waste any time.

Pfft...

'Ready, Master!'

Little Ball's voice came from within. Its body had become extremely bloated, stuffed full of a huge amount of miscellaneous junk!

"You idiot, you could've just thrown away the jars and spoons..."

Moss glanced at the now-empty cave and scolded it with exasperation and amusement.

There was no way the Pet Space could hold so many things, so Moss had to step forward and take out everything Little Ball currently didn't need.

The jars and spoons used for eating, the stones for building the stove, the rack for hanging dried meat...

A huge pile of things was discarded with a clatter. Only then did Moss put the Little Ball that had shrunk several sizes back into the Pet Space.

Finally, Moss slowly turned her head and looked around with a sigh, speaking softly:

"Maybe it's time to leave too..."

As the ground began shaking again, Moss stopped lingering and turned to run out of the cave!

The moment she ran out of the entrance, Moss froze in place, staring at the surroundings in astonishment and suspicion!

"What's going on?!"

Moss muttered in shock. When had the sewer become this huge?!

Had she traveled through time and space again?!

"It was already enormous before, but this passage is at least twenty or thirty meters wider than it was!"

Even the river channel had become much wider, and the flowing water was clearer and more turbulent!

The ground, which had originally been paved with stone bricks, was now covered by a layer of green grass!

Moss quickly surveyed the changes around her, then lowered her head to inspect her body, confirming that she hadn't shrunk.

She dug at the ground with her hand. The original stone-brick floor had vanished, and moist soil lay beneath it!

"Did I travel through space? No... If I had, this place would be far too strange. It couldn't possibly be a dungeon..."

She looked up. The ceiling was still sealed off by rock, formed from soil mixed with stone bricks!

Moss was very familiar with those bricks. They were the stone bricks from the sewer!

Moss glanced at the bricks overhead, then lowered her head and began searching. Soon, she found a stone brick!

This was a sewer stone brick. Moss was certain she couldn't have mistaken it!

She was actually still in the same place. Only the surrounding space had truly grown larger!

"It looks as if the sewer was suddenly stuffed together with another space, causing the space to expand from being squeezed!"

Moss furrowed her brows, her expression growing even more solemn!

The seriousness of the situation far exceeded her imagination. She had never expected things to become like this!

"An abnormal phenomenon related to space... There's probably only..."

Moss recalled the scenes described in her memories. Her heart jolted, and she said solemnly yet excitedly:

"The World Gate has descended! I can't believe it appeared in the sewer!"

She looked toward the northwest, in the direction she remembered. The place where the World Gate had descended was probably over there!

No wonder that Giant Centipede had suddenly fled its territory. It had probably sensed the danger posed by the World Gate!

As for whether the reason the Giant Centipede had become a monster was related to the World Gate, Moss couldn't say for sure.

But she no longer had the mind to investigate something so unimportant!

Moss stared toward the northwest and muttered regretfully:

What she needed now was to get away from the center of the incident. She could wait until later to join in the excitement!

First, she would enter the sewer's main route through the southern passage, then run all the way out through the main route!

Moss's expression changed, and she hurriedly jumped backward!

A huge amount of falling rock came down with the collapsing ceiling, completely blocking the sewer!

Moss rolled more than a dozen times across the ground, then scrambled to her feet and fled in a panic!

She darted left and right!

Moss continually dodged the falling rocks overhead. Her face had already gone deathly pale, and cold sweat poured from her forehead!

Roars came from behind Moss, as if the entire earth were shaking and the whole world were trembling!

She no longer had the time to worry about the route. She only knew to run toward wherever there were no falling rocks!

The sewer's maze of interconnected passages made Moss lose her bearings instantly!

Moss looked at the entrance completely blocked by falling rocks and cursed through clenched teeth.

Flickering flames burst from her mouth!

Moss spat out a scorching fireball, blasting it toward the boulders blocking the passage.

With the explosion, dazzling light bloomed in the dim underground!

Moss was plunged into temporary blindness in an instant!

A large amount of flying rubble shot toward her face, piercing flesh like bullets!

Moss felt as if she had been hit by a shotgun blast. Violent pain spread throughout her body!

But she didn't dare stop moving in the slightest. Compared to these wounds, the falling rocks overhead were the greatest danger!

If she were hit, her chances of survival would be practically zero!

Moss endured the pain and charged toward the blocked entrance, relying on her memory!

The sound of falling rocks continued beside Moss's ears. She no longer knew how many times she had rolled!

She only knew that she wasn't dead yet!

However, the injuries on her body gradually caused her to lose consciousness!

Moss suddenly opened her eyes, panting heavily!

She climbed to her feet and looked around in lingering terror. Only then did she let out a long sigh of relief!

"The collapse... has it stopped...?"

Moss looked at the scene of utter devastation around her, her heart pounding wildly.

She raised her head and glanced at the huge rocks braced above her, swallowing involuntarily.

She had been unbelievably lucky!

Her leap had landed her right between two mutually supporting rocks, allowing her to avoid being crushed by the falling stones!

"My injuries... They've already recovered."

Moss moved her aching body. Fortunately, her injuries weren't serious, and the wounds caused by the rubble had already healed.

The energy stored by Glutton had saved her life once again!

Moss took out the dried meat stored in the space and quickly ate two large pieces, replenishing the energy she had lost!

After eating the dried meat, Moss lay on the ground and recovered her strength.

A trace of worry appeared on her face as she frowned and said softly:

"The food in the space will only last for a dozen days or so. I have to find an exit as soon as possible..."

She stood up and walked in one direction.
