Moss set off toward the World Gate, running through the sewer littered with gravel and mud as she muttered to herself.
She roughly estimated the time in her mind, counting from when she left Sun Lei's team, including both the time spent traveling and fighting.
"By my reckoning, at least three or four hours have passed!"
She stopped and stood atop a rock, warily raising herself to inspect the surrounding environment!
Her snow-white fur stirred without any wind. She sensed the faint vibrations coming from all directions, sketching out a new map in her mind!
"The City Guard should have reached the World Gate by now, right?"
Moss sensed no danger, so she lay back down and speculated silently.
That earlier vibration had probably also been caused by the World Gate!
"I wonder what the reason was. Could the World Gate have been damaged?"
Moss muttered as she jumped off the boulder and started running again, though her brows furrowed!
"Or... could a new monster have appeared inside the World Gate and started fighting the City Guard?"
Before long, she stopped again atop a rock and lowered her head to examine the scratches on its surface!
"These are traces left by the Spider Monster!"
"As expected, that monster also ran toward the World Gate. Is it after the denser Mana Essence beside the gate?"
