The shadow of a bat spread its wings and soared through Gotham's streets and alleys. This was his nightly routine: patrolling all of Gotham City, saving whatever unfortunate souls he could, breaking a few criminals' bones, and hanging a few people from towers.
For him, it was a fairly uneventful routine. However, today was Thanksgiving, so there seemed to be very few crimes on the streets. Even criminals seemed to have families to spend time with, which made tonight's work a little more leisurely.
After finishing his patrol, he did not return directly to his Batcave as usual.
