The horrified man's features were impossible to make out. His head was wrapped in white bandages, wound so densely that only his eyes and mouth showed. Even so, anyone could easily see the abnormality on the exposed left half of his face.
The bloodshot eyeball, the completely vanished eyelids, and the small patches of raw, bloody flesh exposed around the eye formed a hideous, twisted, and horrifying half-face.
It looked like the aftermath of burns or severe corrosion.
Strangely, the right half of the man's face was perfectly unharmed, looking completely normal.
"Solomon Grundy! Born on Monday!"
The blue-gray hand shoved his head and half his body straight into the stagnant sewer water. The cold, murky, foul-smelling sewage engulfed him. Any normal person would have struggled desperately at that moment.
