Background / History

Ye Hanxue was separated from her biological family during an Evil Soul Master attack on the Ye Family, whose Nine Heart Begonia abilities had attracted the attackers. Her elder sister, Ye Zhilan, hid her and split their mother's jade pendant in half, leaving one piece with Hanxue before drawing the pursuers away. When Zhilan returned, Hanxue had vanished. 104

She was later rescued by Spirit Hall alongside Ye Han Yue and Ye Zifeng. The three were taken in by a reclusive master and eventually established Forget Worries Pavilion in Tian Dou City, where they built a protected and prosperous practice without interference from local powers. 5

Under Li Changsheng's instruction, Hanxue developed rapidly in both Soul Master cultivation and auxiliary disciplines. After identifying that her poisons acted too slowly and often relied on indirect effects, Li Changsheng gave her a Poison Sutra and a Body Technique Soul Skill to address those weaknesses. 10

More than a decade after their separation, Ye Zhilan arrived at Forget Worries Pavilion with the matching half of Hanxue's jade pendant. The pendant confirmed their relationship, restoring Hanxue's memories and reuniting the sisters. Hanxue is lively, sarcastic, and quick to tease her siblings, especially Ye Zifeng. She is also blunt and intolerant of arrogance; when Yu Xiaogang rudely demanded the pavilion's “Destiny-altering opportunities,” she slapped him and expelled him without negotiation. 7 38
