As the Peach Mountain Eighteen Immortals clashed with Prince Rong over Wen Jia, Lin Bai helped them escape and reunited with old companions at a hidden villa.

• Lin Bai forced Dong Dian to accept ten years of unconditional obedience, then organized the Sword Alliance to rescue Su Jin from his execution.
• The Sword Alliance and Lord Night Emperor’s men disrupted the execution and carried Su Jin away, while Lin Bai faced Zhao Yue and later reunited Su Jin with Ye Qingxue.
• Lin Bai met Wen Jia, confirmed he was Lin Duo and Li Subai’s son, and warned Wen Jia to question Mo Wenshen about his betrayal of their sworn companions.
• Dragon Lord Ke Yan gave Lin Bai a Celestial God Tomb Qualification Token, and the Imperial Advisor later revealed a record of the war that ended with Lin Duo and Li Subai imprisoned and the Peach Mountain Eighteen Immortals missing.

Lin Bai secured the Seventh Young Master’s support and organized allies for a future assault on the Black Prison while trying to turn Wen Jia against Mo Wenshen. After escaping the Divine Capital with Su Xianmei, Lin Bai returned to an Eastern Continent largely controlled by the Divine Martial Nation and headed to seek Bai Xiaoxiao’s help.

• The Seventh Young Master revealed that he had chosen Lin Duo as a candidate for emperor and offered to help Lin Bai rescue him from the Black Prison, whose entrance lay beneath the Emperor’s Throne.
• Lin Bai resolved to save his parents, rallied his uncles and friends, and agreed with the Seventh Young Master to prepare an assault within half a year in exchange for the Heavenly Treasure Pavilion clan leader position.
• Lin Bai mobilized the Sword Alliance and compelled seven Army Marquises to gather their loyal legions near the Divine Capital, while arranging a meeting with Wen Jia through the Snare.
• At White Xiao’s gathering, Wen Jia fought brutally until Lin Bai defeated him, then Lin Bai and Su Xianmei revealed that Mo Wenshen had killed Wen Jia’s parents and that Lin Bai was Lin Duo and Li Subai’s son.

Lin Bai secured the Divine Martial Nation’s unification of the Eastern Continent and learned that the Central Sacred Nation’s power was tied to the Spirit Realm. After Mo Wenshen used Wen Jia as bait, Lin Bai launched a coordinated rescue and led Wen Jia and the Sword Alliance away from the Dragon Slayer Platform.

• Lin Bai asked Bai Xiaoxiao to mobilize the Divine Martial Nation’s forces, then went with her to confront Gu Daozhi at the Eastern Continent Academy.
• Lin Bai won a wager against Gu Daozhi by cutting off Wu He’s hair within seven breaths, and Gu Daozhi agreed to stop the academy’s interference in the conflict between the Divine Martial Nation and the Great Wu Dynasty.
• Gu Daozhi accepted Lin Bai’s terms to help stabilize the continent, while Bai Xiaoxiao sent troops to bring Jianghai Domain and the Great Wu Dynasty under Divine Martial Nation’s rule.
• Lin Bai learned from Black Heaven Old Ancestor that the passage to the Spirit Realm lay in Descent Mountain and that the Ancient Immortal Sect controlled access to the upper realm.
• Mo Wenshen secured the Sacred Emperor’s authority to hunt Lin Bai, captured Wen Jia, and announced his execution at the Dragon Slayer Platform.
• Lin Bai planned to rescue Wen Jia and his parents, while the Sword Alliance assassinated officials and staged attacks on the Crown Prince and Seventeenth Prince to distract the capital’s forces.

Lin Bai rescued Lin Duo and Li Subai from the Black Prison, then led the Divine Martial Nation’s forces in a desperate escape from the Central Sacred Nation. The fighting continued outside the Divine Capital as Lin Bai faced the Sacred Emperor and Prince Rong, joined by Zhao Yue, Jian Ruohan, Tie Haitang, and Hong Su.

• Lin Bai entered the Black Prison, found Lin Duo and Li Subai at Flame Mountain, and freed them by cleaving the mountain apart.
• Lin Bai killed the Lord of Black Prison after holding off his forces long enough for his companions to escape.
• Chu Jiangliu and the Divine Martial Nation’s army fought the Central Sacred Nation in the imperial city while Lin Duo and his allies tried to break out.
• Lan Ling and Li Zhengyi joined the battle, helping the Divine Martial Nation withstand attacks from the Dragon Lord, Phoenix Lord, and Central Sacred Nation’s forces.
• Lin Bai returned to the fighting, rallied the surviving troops, and gained the support of seven Army Marquises who defected with nearly five million soldiers.
