After Lin Bai warned Liu Fuyun and Li Mojun, the sect struck the Situ and Zhao Families, leaving Heng Province to suspect its involvement.

• Lin Bai joined Li Meng’s disguised team, helped defeat Wu Beihe’s formation, and received two Dragon Immortal Jades as his share.
• The team pursued Shangguan Hao, who fled after the Purple-haired Youth devastated the Zhang Clan, then killed him before the Evil Moon Sect’s pursuers forced them to scatter.
• Lin Bai reunited with Li Meng’s group in Worryfree City, learned Gongsun Ci was badly injured, and warned Li Mojun that Evil Moon Sect disciples might be supporting an assault on the Eternal Devil Sect.
• Li Mojun prepared the sect for war as Liu Fuyun searched for Lin Bai, while Lin Bai and Li Meng resumed hunting for Dragon Immortal Jade.

Lin Bai helped the Eternal Devil Sect destroy the noble families of Heng Province and uncover the Murong Family’s hidden formation. After the sect’s assault stalled at Mountain River City, Lin Bai offered to break the formation for half an hour, and the two sides prepared for battle.

• The Eternal Devil Sect destroyed the Situ, Zhao, Li, Wang, Qian, Shangguan, and Wu Families, leaving the Murong Family as the last of Heng Province’s Eight Great Noble Families.
• Lin Bai discovered that the Murong Family had concealed the Thousand Autumns Mountain River Four Gods Formation and warned Liu Fuyun that its hubs could make an attack on Mountain River City disastrous.
• The Eternal Devil Sect attacked the formation hubs, but Murong Chouyuan summoned the Vermilion Bird Formation Spirit and drove its forces back.
• Lin Bai found that Zhennan Mountain’s valley was a formation hub, then used the Flame Spirit and his Supreme Avatar to destroy it and collapse the southern formations.

Lin Bai helped the Eternal Devil Sect destroy the Murong Family, then used his rewards to restore his Heaven Measuring Ruler and repair his cultivation. As the sect prepared for the Evil Moon Grand Feast, Lin Bai set out for Yue Province to investigate a dangerous religious faction and learn whether Sun Yao had joined it.

• Lin Bai broke the Murong Family’s formation, helped the Eternal Devil Sect take Mountain River City, and looted the family’s ancestral vault with Jiang Xuansu before the sect destroyed the Murong Family and hunted its survivors.
• Lin Bai organized his spoils, cultivated with the Murong Family’s pills, and fused his Dragon Immortal Jade, but found that pill-fueled progress had weakened his foundation.
• At the Eternal Devil Sect’s reward ceremony, Lin Bai asked the sect to investigate the Void Ancient Road and had Ancestor Zhang Yun reforge his Heaven Measuring Ruler.

Lin Bai and Jiang Xuansu uncovered the Joyous Union Sect’s Heart Demon Implantation scheme and found Sun Yao preparing to marry its leader, Su Kong. The Eternal Devil Sect destroyed the sect, but Sun Yao and Su Kong escaped, and an unseen sword strike intervened as Wan Wei threatened her.

• Lin Bai and Jiang Xuansu traveled to Purple Phoenix City, where they discovered that the Joyous Union Sect’s Scripture of Joyous Union implanted Dao Seeds in followers for its leader to harvest.
• Jiang Xuansu reported the scheme to the Eternal Devil Sect, while Lin Bai and Jiang Xuansu learned that Sun Yao was one of the sect’s Nine Envoys and was preparing to marry Su Kong.
• Lin Bai and Jiang Xuansu traveled to Cloudpeak Mountain, protected Zhang Qing from the Joyous Union Sect, and fought their way to the wedding gathering.
• At the wedding, Sun Yao said she had chosen Su Kong and refused Lin Bai’s offer to take her away, while Ke Yu arrived with the Eternal Devil Sect’s forces.
• Ke Yu exposed the Joyous Union Sect’s use of Heart Demon Implantation and led the Eternal Devil Sect’s attack, but Sun Yao and Su Kong escaped amid the sect’s destruction.
• Lin Bai and Jiang Xuansu pursued Su Kong and Sun Yao as Wan Wei struck them down and threatened Sun Yao, until an unseen sword severed Wan Wei’s transformed arm.
