After the Moon Goddess drove the Emperor back, Lin Bai traveled to Liang Province and learned that his family and friends were safe in the Dao Ruins World.

• Lin Bai explored Insect Valley and the Underground Palace, survived a Ladybug Poison attack, and joined forces with the Crow, who revealed that the Insect Emperor’s tomb was a false one.
• Lin Bai and the Crow followed the other factions through the tomb’s dangerous levels and reached a palace where Wan Zizhen revealed the Insect Emperor had used his dragon family to sustain a Rebirth Cicada.
• Wan Zizhen asked Lin Bai to break the coffin’s formation so he could avenge his parents, and Lin Bai opened the coffin to reveal a human-shaped cocoon.
• The Insect Emperor awakened and unleashed a mosquito swarm that devoured Luo Wuling and other martial artists, forcing Lin Bai and the Crow to flee through the tomb.
• The Insect Emperor pursued Lin Bai along the Void Ancient Road to the Evil Moon Sect, drawn by the Green Jade Fragments, until the Moon Goddess crushed the swarm and drove the Emperor back into the Void God Tomb.
• Lin Bai and the Crow slipped away from the Evil Moon Sect and traveled to Melting Furnace City, where Lin Bai sought information about Wind and Snow Villa.

Lin Bai fought off bounty hunters in Liang Province, learned the Evil Moon Sect’s hunt might be tied to the Void God Tomb, and set out to search for a way home. After reaching Chu, he befriended Prince Chen and joined him on a journey toward the capital, where their trading vessel carried a woman targeted by the Dark World.

• The Crow found Lin Bai in the Demon Realm and warned him that poisoned food at the inn could leave him unable to use his cultivation.
• Lin Bai killed the bounty hunters who pursued him, then defeated the fighters who gathered at Heaven Mountain Snow Pool while sparing Guang Yun.
• Lin Bai told Leng Xingguang and his companions about the Void God Tomb and the possible return of the Moon God, then agreed to meet Leng Xingguang in Chu Imperial City in three years.
• Fei Lingzi fought Lin Bai at the Bitterwater Sect ruins, and Lin Bai escaped by teleportation after giving him a map to the Yellow Springs Demon Bone.

After leaving for Sang Province to seek the Yellow Springs Demon Bone, Lin Bai entered the Mist Marsh and found Twilight Mountain, where the Crow’s grave-robbing past drew powerful enemies.

• Lin Bai learned that Li Guxian’s missing letter linked the Blood God Sect to corrupt officials, and Chen You revealed he was Prince Chen, her Imperial Uncle.
• Li Guxian recounted how the Blood God Sect framed her father, Li Tianen, and destroyed her family, so Lin Bai agreed to help Chen You investigate the missing register.
• Lin Bai and his companions fought off Blood God Sect attackers, then used the Dark World’s information to identify Zhang Yunting as the likely holder of the register.
• Lin Bai found Zhang Yunting, received the register before he died, and defeated the assassins and pursuers who tried to seize it.

Lin Bai obtained the Yellow Springs Demon Bone from Demon Palace Mountain and fled the Imperial Capital after the Crow’s robberies drew attention. He traveled to Haizhou with Yi Gu, defeated the Demon Cloud Pirates, and arrived at Sea Heart Island to prepare for Tianshui Sect’s recruitment.

• Lin Bai and the Crow found Demon Palace Mountain, entered after the Chen Family’s insects opened its barrier, and retrieved the Yellow Springs Demon Bone while the factions fought the Fiend Shadows.
• Lin Bai defeated the Nine Underworlds Demon Palace siblings and sent Chen Yule flying before escaping, prompting the Chen Family to hunt him.
