Yuhara developed and tested the Human Cursed Seal, then used it to strengthen Neji while challenging the Hyuga Clan’s Caged Bird system. Sent to Sunagakure to assess Sasori and the village’s politics, Yuhara found the village stable and asked Sasori whether he would serve it again.

• Yuhara defeated Yūhi Shinkurō and later lost to Kakashi, whose Mangekyō Sharingan let him teleport without a physical mark.
• After Hizashi asked him to teach Neji, Yuhara accepted and began developing a safer, adaptable version of Orochimaru’s Cursed Seal using Tenzo as a test subject.
• Yuhara’s experiments enhanced Tenzo’s Wood Release, and he registered his modified technique as the Human Cursed Seal before testing it on Shibi and himself.
• Yuhara trained Neji and delayed the boy’s Caged Bird seal, then fought the Hyuga elders and won Hiashi’s agreement to postpone the seal.
• The Third Hokage upheld Neji’s temporary reprieve and sent Yuhara to Sunagakure to investigate Sasori amid the village’s political uncertainty.
• Yuhara entered Sunagakure with Sasori and Uchiha Matsushiro, while Konoha’s leadership dealt with disputes over the Security Division, ANBU appointments, and Danzō’s faction.

Yuhara uncovered Danzō’s plot during the Uchiha crisis, killed him, and left Konoha after the massacre and the Third Hokage’s death. He established a new stronghold as Kushina prepared Tsunade to lead Konoha and Sarah arrived at Yuhara’s base.

• Yuhara returned to Konoha as the Uchiha crisis escalated, while Obito and Orochimaru infiltrated the village and Danzō moved against Shisui.
• Itachi and Shisui split over how to resolve the conflict, and Itachi fought Obito as the crisis erupted across Konoha.
• Danzō and his allies framed Yuhara for attacking the Hokage, but Yuhara confronted them, killed the two advisers, and defeated Danzō despite his repeated Izanagi revivals.
• Konoha learned that Shisui was dead, Itachi had fled, and most of the Uchiha had been killed, and Yuhara rejected his ties to Konoha and resolved to build a new one.
• The Third Hokage died after sealing Orochimaru, while Konoha’s leaders chose Tsunade as the next Hokage and decided to exile Yuhara.
• Yuhara, Tenzo, Kinoshita Tadashi, and fewer than thirty ninja left Konoha and began building a stronghold at Shadow Leaf Mountain.
• Yuhara ordered Tenzo to raise houses and gather funds, while Kushina approved support for the new base and Tsunade arrived in Konoha to challenge her appointment.
• Sarah and two Loulan Remnants reached Yuhara’s stronghold and saw its giant trees and buildings.

Tsunade became Hokage and ruler of the Land of Fire as Yuhara helped establish Shadow Leaf City and reshape the country. After Nagato apparently killed him, Yuhara survived through Naruto’s seal, returned to Konoha, and prepared for Akatsuki’s threat.

• Tsunade reorganized Konoha, succeeded as Seventh Hokage, and issued a wanted order for Uchiha Itachi.
• Yuhara built up the Shadow Leaf Stronghold as Tsunade inspected it, while he and Uchiha Tsukasa pursued missions that helped destabilize the daimyo’s rule.
• After the daimyo’s death, Yuhara proposed Tsunade as his successor, and she accepted the rule of the Land of Fire and moved its capital to Shadow Leaf City.
• Tsunade and her leaders reorganized the country, established a training garden, and negotiated a greater role for Sunagakure in the western Land of Rivers.
• Nagato confronted Yuhara, defeated him in battle, and left Konoha believing he was dead.
• Yuhara survived within Naruto’s seal by taking control of Nine-Tails Chakra, then emerged and told Tsunade what he had learned about Nagato and the Rinnegan.
• Yuhara returned from the Land of Rain after meeting Jiraiya and Orochimaru, warned Konoha to prepare quietly, and began developing the Heavenly Waterfall technique.
• Yuhara helped Konoha’s barriers detect White Zetsu spies, and Kakashi captured one for Tsunade to examine.
