Back at the Astrology Tower, Hekate immediately spotted Furia changing Little Bubble's water.
A bright smile covered Furia's face. Clearly, she had gained quite a lot from this mission—her Magic Level had even broken through once, advancing from a seven-star Apprentice Mage to an eight-star Apprentice Mage.
"Teacher Hekate, I'm back!" Furia said with a crisp, pleasant voice.
After a year of stable living, Furia's skin had changed noticeably.
Her skin, once darkened and slightly roughened by years of gathering along the shore, had gradually become fair and delicate again.
Her once-numb expression, worn down by sea winds and the struggle to find food, had finally regained the radiance of youth.
She would most likely grow into a breathtaking Witch in the future.
Hekate thought to herself, then asked, "Did you gain anything from this mission?"
After thinking for a moment, Furia said, "This mission taught me not to trust the local ordinary people too much."
"Did something unexpected happen?"
"No. They deliberately understated that monster's strength. Luckily, the senior student was strong enough, so we still completed the mission smoothly." Furia shook her head.
Hekate nodded.
Where there were mages, there were naturally magical monsters. These magical monsters had always been a headache for ordinary people. They were powerful, thick-skinned, and capable of using magic. The locals did not dare provoke them, so when reporting them to the authorities, they would try to describe the monsters as weaker than they really were, hoping to attract mages to deal with them.
"Mm, stay vigilant when adventuring outside. Keep up the good work next time."
"Yes, Teacher!"
After chatting with Furia for a while, Hekate returned to her room.
She asked Star about Verz. She wanted to see whether this Calamity Witch was really coming to the Uruk Kingdom.
