However, after Qingqing gave him the Kongtong Seal, Supreme Pure Laozi completely understood that his karmic connection with Nuwa likely lay in attaining the Dao and becoming a Saint.

Establishing the Human Teaching and attaining the Dao to become a Saint—this was the path to sainthood he had taken in the original trajectory.
The reason the Three Pure Ones would slaughter one another in the future, to the point where even he, the eldest brother, chose a side, could never be clearly explained by merely one or two reasons.
This method of attaining the Dao and becoming a Saint ought to be altered.
He was the eldest among the Three Pure Ones, so naturally, he had to be the one to make this attempt.
Thus, he chose to discard the original path of establishing the Human Teaching to attain the Dao and become a Saint.
Since Nuwa had the potential to become the supreme sovereign of the Human Dao, he might as well let his junior sister Nuwa bring out that potential of the Human Dao even further.
If the Three Pure Ones were destined to become Heavenly Dao Saints, then they would surely be able to attain the Dao and become Saints even without establishing the Human Teaching.
Supreme Pure Laozi had that confidence.
Qingqing said this was the Human Teaching, so he might as well hand the Human Teaching over to Nuwa as well.
