Ch. 662You’re Blaspheming! / From the Golden Dawn to the Silver Star

Ritsuka and Mashu learned that Goetia was the First Beast, formed from Solomon’s Seventy-Two Demon Gods, and that Romani was King Solomon. As Goetia declared his plan to remake humanity, God’s footsteps echoed through the Temple of Time, and the Demon Pillars trembled before Roy.

  • Roman explained that the Temple of Time was made from King Solomon’s corpse and recounted the origins of the Seventy-Two Demon Gods and magecraft.
  • A king on the throne revealed himself as Goetia and denounced Solomon for refusing to change humanity’s fate.
  • Goetia transformed into the First Beast, the Beast of Mercy, and vowed to destroy humanity and create a perfect world.
  • Goetia exposed Roman as King Solomon, and Roman argued that humanity’s future was not Solomon’s to decide.
  • Roman told Goetia that his attempt to become a god was blasphemy, then footsteps rang through the Temple of Time and the Demon Pillars cowered before Roy.

Ch. 663Solomon's Redemption / The Old Covenant and the New Covenant, the Two Faces of the One God

Roy restored Goetia to the Human Order Rectification Ritual and explained that his own greatness and the Beast 777 ritual had been destined across worlds. Roman reflected on why he had given up Solomon’s power, while Mashu’s praise helped him feel redeemed; Roy then turned his attention back to Goetia.

  • Roy transformed the Temple of Time and its Demon God Pillars, sat on Solomon’s throne, and watched Goetia kneel and repent.
  • Roman explained that Goetia was the sentient Human Order Rectification Ritual, which Roy had returned to its original purpose, and revealed that Goetia had become the First Beast before Roy took control.
  • Roy told Roman that his ritual had already surpassed the First Beast and that his path to completeness had begun long before.
  • Roy condemned Goetia’s sins and asked Roman whether he wanted Solomon’s power and identity back; Roman described why giving them up had helped him understand humanity.
  • Mashu praised Roman for his care and hard work, and her words helped him feel that both Romani Archaman and Solomon had been redeemed.
  • Roy declared that Goetia should never have existed and began explaining that Solomon had placed the ritual inside his own body.

Ch. 664The Day of the Divine Child's Suffering / AD 33

Roy destroyed Goetia by granting him a human life, then restored Solomon’s Ten Rings and Clairvoyance to Romani. He blessed Ritsuka for the final stage of the journey, naming it “The Day of the Divine Child’s Suffering,” before leaving.

  • Roy used the Book of Life to give Goetia a human body and a final moment of genuine life, and Goetia died understanding human emotions.
  • Roy told Romani that the Beast had already been defeated and teased him before explaining the difference between humanity and divinity.
  • Romani admitted he regretted abandoning his past and chose to reclaim what he had lost.
  • Roy returned Solomon’s Ten Rings and Clairvoyance to Romani, who remembered that Roy had granted him wisdom at birth.
  • Romani called Roy his father, and Roy praised Ritsuka’s growth, blessed her, and named the final act “The Day of the Divine Child’s Suffering.”
  • Roy departed, leaving the crystal-blue sky, the seventy-two Demon God Pillars, and Romani’s ten rings as proof of what had happened.

Ch. 665Grateful to Father

Roman returned himself, Mashu, and Ritsuka to a living Earth where ancient Uruk had appeared in AD 33, and Merlin explained that time had stopped at the present. Merlin rejoined them and revealed that the rest of Chaldea was alive in Uruk, leaving the group to head there together.

  • Roman sent himself, Mashu, and Ritsuka out of the Temple of Time and back onto the timeline.
  • Ayaka greeted them on a fertile plain, and Roman identified the land as Uruk despite it being in the modern era.
  • Merlin appeared and explained that the world’s backward-moving time had stopped at AD 33, while ancient Uruk had somehow arrived there.
  • Ritsuka happily reunited with Merlin, who said he had escaped to Avalon but had been killed when Odin destroyed it.
  • Merlin revealed that everyone from Chaldea had come back to life and was in Uruk, then offered to lead the group there.

Ch. 666King Solomon Was Actually My Bricklaying Buddy / Great Whore of Babylon!

Ritsuka reunited with Chaldea in Uruk, where they learned the truth about Roman’s identity and heard Merlin’s account of the crisis facing the city and the wider world. Gilgamesh summoned them to discuss the situation, leaving Chaldea to consider threats from Tiamat, the Huns, and the Dragon Witch.

  • Ritsuka reunited tearfully with Da Vinci, Ophelia, Kirschtaria, Kadoc, Peperoncino, Shion, Sakura, Luviya, and El-Melloi II, while learning that Rin was being dominated by Ishtar and Illya was missing.
  • Ritsuka recounted her later Lostbelt journey, including the King of Lions, her mother Ritsuka Sajo, and the revelation that the One God was her father.
  • Roman revealed that he had been summoned as King Solomon in the Fuyuki Holy Grail War before abandoning his past to live as an ordinary person, shocking the Clock Tower magi and El-Melloi II.
  • Siduri escorted Chaldea to Gilgamesh, where they found Ishtar bound in chains and Gilgamesh demanded that Merlin explain the current crisis.
  • Merlin explained that Uruk had been displaced from the twenty-fourth century BC to AD 33, where monsters threatened the city and someone was trying to summon Tiamat.
  • Merlin reported that Nero’s Roman Empire was losing to the Huns, while the Dragon Witch had raised a rebellion in Gaul with Phantasmal Species.

Ch. 667Preaching and the Gospel / The Ritual’s End: The Path of the Church of the Cross

Waver connected Nero Claudius and Ishtar to possible interpretations of the Whore of Babylon, while Gilgamesh set Chaldea’s immediate priorities on Uruk’s crisis and Tiamat. Meanwhile, Roy preached Christianity through the region with four saints, leaving them to continue their journey as Wyverns controlled by the Dragon Witch of Gaul appeared.

  • Waver explained that Nero Claudius and Ishtar could each be identified with the Whore of Babylon, while another interpretation treated her as all religions outside the Abrahamic faiths.
  • Gilgamesh forgave Waver’s earlier disrespect and said Uruk’s Phantasmal Species and Tiamat were the urgent threats.
  • Roy preached to hundreds of believers on a mountain near Jerusalem and set out with Martha, Joan, Amakusa, and George to spread his faith.
  • George killed a Wyvern controlled by the Dragon Witch of Gaul and warned Roy that the creatures had reached the area.

Ch. 668Roman Emperor, Don't Fail to Recognize Your Place! / The Saintess's Village-Girl Life

Roy and his companions reached a Roman town besieged by wyverns, where Roy healed more than a hundred sick and injured people and inspired the townspeople to worship him. After assigning Martha and George to deal with the wyverns, Roy settled into a residence with Joan and Amakusa, where Joan shyly offered to wash his clothes.

  • Roy and his companions reached a well-developed town, and Shirou Amakusa suggested punishing Nero for persecuting Christians, but Roy said Rome was already being punished.
  • A centurion recognized Roy as the miracle-working preacher from Jerusalem and begged him to heal the town's sick and wounded.
  • Roy healed more than a hundred people, including the blind and soldiers who had lost limbs, and thousands of townspeople worshiped him and denounced Nero.

Ch. 669Jeanne of Magdala / The Roman Emperor Devoured by the Beast

Roy continued toward Gaul after Joan of Arc served him, while he reflected that his transformation into a Demon God was nearing completion and that Yog-Sothoth held the knowledge he still lacked. In Rome, Emperor Nero Claudius learned that Attila was approaching and that the empire had lost Gaul and Britain, then erupted in rage.

  • Joan of Arc washed Roy's clothes, and the water caused flowers to bloom throughout the courtyard.
  • George reported that he and Martha had cleared out the Lesser Dragons, while the town celebrated the miracle and Roy's victory over the wyverns.
  • Roy reflected that his ascension was nearly complete, that the world had been fixed in AD 33, and that he would obtain his missing knowledge from Yog-Sothoth.
  • Joan of Arc bathed Roy, washed his feet, dried him with her hair, and combed his hair as they spoke about faith, suffering, and humanity.
  • Nero Claudius heard that Attila and the Hunnic army were approaching Rome and that Gaul and Britain had left the empire, then smashed furnishings in a furious tantrum.

Ch. 670The Roman Emperor Was in High Spirits / The Saintly Maiden's Devout Kiss

  • After several days of travel, Roy and his companions arrived in Gaul and found it desolate.
  • Saint George searched an abandoned village and reported that its residents had left voluntarily without signs of fighting or destruction.
  • Joan of Arc, Martha, and Amakusa discussed where the displaced villagers had gone and how the wyverns had been created.

Ch. 671The Dragon Witch and Joan / My Lord Is Here

Roy explained why the era’s ley lines were largely unclaimed and why the Dragon Witch had appeared as a counterpart to the Christian Heroic Spirits. Joan pleaded for the Dragon Witch’s salvation, and when Roy’s group reached Samarobriva, the Witch confronted Joan with a confused fury.

  • Roy told Shirou Amakusa that the transition between the Age of Gods and modern magecraft had left many ley lines without owners.
  • Roy explained to Joan that Human Order had summoned the Dragon Witch as a corresponding Heroic Spirit to the Christian saints.
  • Joan asked Roy to save the Dragon Witch and Gaul, and Roy agreed to hasten their journey.
  • The Dragon Witch, lonely and directionless after occupying Samarobriva, planned to invade Rome and welcomed the arrival of challengers.
  • Roy’s group fought through the Wyverns and entered the castle, where the Dragon Witch saw Joan and unleashed a storm of mana.
  • The Dragon Witch drew her sword and declared that her hatred and fury came from the grievance of being burned as Joan.

Ch. 672Born in Darkness, Yearning for the Light

Roy arrived and confronted the captured Dragon Witch, whose hatred gave way to comfort and grief when she recognized him as the Lord. After learning she was a false Heroic Spirit born from Joan’s image, Roy acknowledged her as someone he would protect.

  • Joan asked Martha, Saint George, and Shirou Amakusa to capture the Dragon Witch without harming her, and Martha subdued her with Jacob’s Ladder.
  • Roy approached the restrained Dragon Witch, who recognized him as the Lord and began crying despite her hatred.
  • Roy explained that the Dragon Witch had been created from Joan as a template and could not be wholly evil because her heart yearned for the light.
  • The Dragon Witch relived her memories of Gilles de Rais’s betrayal and learned that she was a false Heroic Spirit rather than Joan’s fallen half.
  • Roy held the sobbing Dragon Witch and told her that he acknowledged her and would protect her.

Ch. 673The Return of the Creation Mother / Tiamat, the Creation Mother Goddess

Roy comforted the Dragon Witch, named her Black Saber, and invited her to travel with him to Rome. Meanwhile, Tiamat returned to the Persian Gulf, prompting Gilgamesh to summon Chaldea and explain the threat.

  • Roy soothed the Dragon Witch as she wept, and she fell asleep in his arms while the group camped in a ruined castle.
  • The Dragon Witch awoke embarrassed, and Roy reassured her that she had her own identity before naming her Black Saber.

  • Tiamat ignored Roy, and her song intensified after he told her that her children were gone; her instinct drove her to destroy humanity and create new descendants.

Ch. 675Seven Billion Children / Unleash the Beast Within Her

Roy continued his plans for Tiamat and the coming religious campaign, while Gilgamesh prepared Uruk to face its destined fall. Near Rome, Roy learned that Nero had been imprisoned by the nobles as they feared the advancing Huns, and he prepared to awaken the beast within her.

  • Roy urged Tiamat to vent her resentment over her children's betrayal, promising that they would create a new world and make humanity her children.
  • Tiamat's eleven demon beasts emerged from the Sea of Life, but Roy erased them and departed, leaving her to grow restless and unleash a catastrophic song.
  • Gilgamesh and Enkidu vowed to defend Uruk and preserve its legacy, even though they knew the city was destined to fall.

  • Nero's attempt to attack Roy ended when a violent headache overcame her and she dropped the Original Fire.
  • Roy identified himself as the God of Tanakh and called Nero the Great Whore of Babylon, but told her he had come to guide rather than kill her.
  • Roy urged Nero to willingly release the Beast within her, while Nero vowed to resist his control and refused to surrender.
  • Roy relaxed in Nero's bath and invited her to rest beside him, while considering how her love for Rome shaped her choices.
  • Thirty kilometers outside Rome, Attila's adjutant reported that the Roman army had fortified its camp, Rome's rear was stabilizing, and the Huns were running low on food.

Ch. 678Whip My Body!

Attila transformed into the White Giant Sefar, revealing the extraterrestrial enemy behind the Hunnic invasion. Romulus sacrificed himself to delay Sefar, leaving Nero and Rome facing the approaching calamity as Roy watched.

  • Attila's body disintegrated as Sefar used the Moon Cell to print a duplicate on Earth and transform Attila into a thousand-meter giant.
  • The Roman and Hunnic armies panicked at Sefar's appearance, and Romulus ordered his guards to warn Nero and evacuate the people of Rome.
  • Romulus charged Sefar at the cost of his life, temporarily wounding her and buying Rome time to escape.
  • Nero saw Romulus's final strike from the imperial palace and watched Sefar recover by absorbing human civilization.
  • Nero confronted Roy about the calamity, then begged the Lord to punish her instead of Rome.

Ch. 679The Prophecy and Reality of Revelation / Scarlet Lady, the One Who Crosses the Abyss

Nero chose to remain in Rome and die rather than abandon her people, but Roy stopped her suicide and urged her to release the beast within her to save the city. Nero began the Scarlet Lady ritual, summoning Babalon's power as Roy reflected on how Aleister's magic had led him back to the Bible.

  • As Rome descended into panic after Romulus's defeat, her adjutant urged Nero to flee to Egypt with the army and a few survivors.
  • Nero refused to abandon her people, ordered the adjutant to take her relatives and seek a future Sixth Emperor, then went to the Golden Theater to sing alone.

  • Nero reached the battlefield outside Rome and declared that defeating the White Giant would save the city.
  • Attila called Rome a bad civilization and said it should be destroyed.

Ch. 681The End of the Journey

Gilgamesh prepared Uruk and Chaldea for a final battle against Tiamat, warning that they could not win but refusing to surrender. Elsewhere, Nero defeated Sefar as a Beast and stood over the unconscious Attila, troubled that she had won only by giving up her identity as Rome’s emperor.

  • Gilgamesh explained his plan to lure Tiamat into Uruk, where the Solomon Sanctuary and Ereshkigal’s Underworld would weaken her, and ordered Siduri to evacuate the city’s people.
  • Gilgamesh told Chaldea that their defeat was inevitable, but said he would resist rather than kneel, and asked to witness the end of their journey.
  • Nero defeated Sefar after the Harvest Star Vanguard fragment proved unable to use its civilization-destroying power against her as a Beast.
