Nero frowned. She let out a "ha" and laughed loudly. "...I am Rome. Then come and see if you can destroy me, Giant!"

The Nero from before had not even possessed the power or the qualifications to meet the White Giant's gaze.

But now, she was a Beast—a complete, genuine Beast. She had confidence, and she would inevitably defeat the calamity before her.

The White Giant Sefar, who had descended upon Earth, was ultimately nothing more than a fragment of the Harvest Star Vanguard on the Moon.

Moreover, although the Harvest Star Vanguard was powerful, its strength lay in its ability to overpower civilizations.

Sefar—or rather, all the Harvest Star Vanguard—possessed the ability to turn civilizations into magical energy and absorb them.

It was precisely through this ability that the Predatory Star had rampaged across the universe, destroying countless civilizations.

Many civilizations more advanced than Earth had been destroyed by the Predatory Star, because it was the enemy of civilization.

The stronger a civilization was, the stronger the Predatory Star became. It had simply turned civilization's own power against civilization itself.

Beasts, however, were the exact opposite. Beasts were born from human civilization, yet their purpose was similar to that of the Harvest Star Vanguard: to destroy civilization.

Beasts powerful enough to destroy planets were non-sapient, non-civilized entities. This rendered the Harvest Star Vanguard's greatest power ineffective against them.

Having lost its authority to devour the power of civilization, the Harvest Star Vanguard was no match for a true Complete Form Beast.

In terms of compatibility, the Beasts completely countered these devourers of civilization.

Nero took a deep breath. Holding the Original Fire, she unleashed strange crimson magical energy from her body and arrogantly declared to the Giant, "...Fight me, and then die here!"
