Su Wan is gentle but demanding. She makes clear that Class A students cannot rely on prior accomplishments and must continuously exceed themselves through rigorous cultivation, weekly combat matches, and monthly outdoor trials. 17

She is highly protective of her students. During the Dark Demon Race ambush, she places herself between the attackers and her students, orders them to retreat, and continues fighting despite being outnumbered and injured. 27

As an instructor, Su Wan emphasizes practical judgment, teamwork, and responsibility. She praises Fang Yan for using his abilities and the environment intelligently, assigns him and Chu Feng together to develop cooperation, and designs training intended to test the school team’s coordination under pressure. 18 26

Class A Instructor

Su Wan welcomes Fang Yan and the other elite freshmen to Class A, setting a demanding curriculum centered on continuous progress and real combat experience. 17

She observes Fang Yan’s victory over Chu Feng, commends his tactical awareness, and assigns the two rivals to work together in the coming wilderness trial. 18

Wilderness Missions

Su Wan leads Class A to Black Wind Ridge and oversees Fang Yan and Chu Feng’s wilderness trial. After they survive the beast tide and kill two Martial Master Realm Exotic Beasts, she praises their performance and cooperation. 19 20

She later briefs the pair before their Misty Forest mission, provides communicators, arranges their extraction after they kill the Misty Giant Python, and secures Fang Yan temporary access to the Scripture Repository. 21 22

School Team Training

After Fang Yan, Chu Feng, Lin Mengyao, and Li Hao qualify for the National Collegiate Martial Dao League, Su Wan personally directs their intensive training. Her simulated combat exercises force the students to adapt to unexpected Exotic Beast interference and improve their coordination. 26

Dark Demon Race Ambush

While escorting the school team to Donghai City, Su Wan senses danger shortly before the group is ambushed by the Dark Demon Race. She fights at the front to shield her students, but is seriously wounded by the enemy leader and collapses. 27
