Little Jiu returned just as Ma Hong Jun was about to humiliate Huo Wu, saving her and turning on Ma Hong Jun and Xue Beng. Xue Ye and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s masters arrived to protect Xue Beng, leaving Little Jiu facing them.

• Feng Xiaotian tried to defend Huo Wu, but Ma Hong Jun defeated and humiliated him.
• Ma Hong Jun pinned Huo Wu with his Soul Power, and she tried to set herself on fire rather than suffer further humiliation.

• Ning Fengzhi claimed Ma Hong Jun would defeat Huo Wu because she lacked Soul Rings, but Little Jiu sacrificed the Heavenly Wood Laurel Tree to give her a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring.
• Huo Wu ignored Ma Hong Jun's Phoenix flames and blasted him away with her Resisting Fire Ring.
• Huo Wu bound Ma Hong Jun with Fire God Restraint, then shot him with a flaming arrow and left him writhing on the ground.

• Little Jiu hurried toward the burning Netherworld Imperial Palace as Dai Mubai, Tang San, Tailong, and Jing Ling attacked Duke Youming and his wife.
• Dai Mubai demanded that Zhu Zhuqing marry him, but she rejected him and declared that she already belonged to Little Jiu.

• Zhu Zhuyun and Duke Youming explained that she had remained untouched while waiting to secure power, and that Dai Mubai’s contempt had driven her toward rebellion.

• Xiao Wu teleported in front of Little Jiu to protect him, but Little Jiu trapped her in a cage and suppressed her cultivation with War Halo.

Little Jiu overwhelmed Tang San, who used Oscar’s Copy Mirror Sausage to take on Tang Chen’s Clear Sky Hammer and Spirit Rings and power up for a final attack. As Tang San unleashed his enormous Great Sumeru Hammer, Little Jiu calmly prepared to counter him.

• Little Jiu’s wind attack pinned Tang San down, severed his hand, and pierced beneath his ribs, while Tang San’s King Yama’s Post was stopped by Little Jiu’s wind wall.
• Tang San swallowed Oscar’s Copy Mirror Sausage and gained Tang Chen’s blood-red Clear Sky Hammer and eight Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Rings, then healed himself with Endless Vitality.
• Little Jiu explained the copied abilities and let Tang San and Tailong build up their Chaotic Gale attacks while secretly controlling the War Halo and keeping Xiao Wu trapped.

Little Jiu and Tang San clashed until the Asura God sent Xiao Wu into the path of Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer, leaving her mortally wounded. As Xiao Wu pleaded for Little Jiu to spare Tang San, Tang San proposed that she sacrifice herself for him, and Little Jiu refused to let her do it.

• Little Jiu used the Defense Evil Ring and challenged Tang San to a clash of strength while Tang San and Tailong attacked him.
• The Asura God broke Xiao Wu’s restraints and sent her between Little Jiu and Tang San, hoping her apparent death would fuel Tang San’s power.
• Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer struck Xiao Wu, and Tang San blamed Little Jiu before Little Jiu kicked him away and accused him of causing her return.

Little Jiu visited the Breaking Clan, where Yang Wudi explained his hatred of the Clear Sky Sect and refused to trust another faction. At Shrek, Tang San returned without Xiao Wu and admitted that she had died beneath his Clear Sky Hammer, prompting Liu Erlong to attack him.

• Yang Wudi declared that the Breaking Clan despised the Clear Sky Sect for abandoning them and causing their suffering, but said he could not trust anyone enough to join Myriad Beast Hall.
