Ch. 242Realism

Jing Yang refined his Nen while Biscuit recognized his unusual growth and advised him to stay guided by his Manipulator nature. After helping Shizuku train Blobfish’s realism, the three set out to find Razor on Greed Island.

  • Jing Yang spent three Death Qi to raise his Transmuter aptitude and used the last point to increase his total Nen quantity to 31,999 aura.
  • Biscuit inferred that one of Jing Yang’s abilities improved his Nen potential and aura, then advised him to let his Manipulator system guide his cultivation and combat.
  • Biscuit told Jing Yang that Netero had spoken of masters proficient in all six Nen systems.
  • Biscuit created a turbulent mass of aura that made Blobfish unstable, showing Shizuku how to train the realism of her Conjuration.
  • Jing Yang learned Biscuit’s method as Shizuku practiced conjuring Blobfish within the turbulent aura.
  • After lunch, Jing Yang carried Biscuit and Shizuku toward the nearest town as a Great Peng Bird and called out for Razor.

Ch. 243Exhaustive Search

Jing Yang, Biscuit, and Shizuku searched Greed Island for Razor while discussing Jing Yang’s abilities and training along the way. Rock Sparrow began scouting the coastline as Jing Yang started shaping an Emitter-type Nen beast that could serve as a second brain.

  • Jing Yang and Shizuku landed on Greed Island and encountered Razor, who expelled them with an administrator card; Jing Yang explained the incident to Biscuit and proposed searching coastal locations for Razor’s lighthouse base.
  • Biscuit inspected Jing Yang’s Nen-Drinking Sword and offered to let it drain her aura so he could recharge it.
  • Jing Yang, Biscuit, and Shizuku went to a restaurant, where Jing Yang defeated six players who tried to ambush them and took their cards.
  • Jing Yang sent Rock Sparrow to search Greed Island’s coastal villages and towns while the group continued training in the wilderness.
  • Jing Yang helped Shizuku practice conjuring Blobfish and began forming an Emitter-type Nen beast based on the idea of creating a second brain.

Ch. 244Taoist Nun

Jing Yang shaped the Emitter-type Nen beast Jade-faced Nun, named her Zenyu, and began developing her space-time ability with Shizuku’s help. After Rock Sparrow completed its route around Greed Island, Jing Yang tested Zenyu’s Sleeve of the Universe by drawing Biscuit into her sleeve.

  • Jing Yang formed a jade-faced, Taoist-robed Nen beast, added calligraphy to her robe, and named her Zenyu.
  • Jing Yang explained that he wanted Zenyu to develop Sleeve of the Universe, an ability that would store living things and complement Shizuku’s Blobfish.
  • Jing Yang and Shizuku spent several days training while Jing Yang refined Zenyu’s abilities and used Shizuku’s perspective to study how Blobfish worked.
  • Rock Sparrow placed eight Star Mark imprints around Greed Island’s coastal towns, and Jing Yang planned to pursue Razor for his rare card.
  • Biscuit assessed Shizuku’s Nen Saw Chain and warned that its range and speed could limit it in combat.
  • Jing Yang called Biscuit’s name, and Zenyu drew Biscuit into her left sleeve when she answered.

Ch. 245Perfect

Jing Yang tested the Jade-faced Nun Zenyu’s Sleeve of the Universe on Biscuit, then discussed the ability’s limits with her and Shizuku. After confirming that the sleeve could store named targets who answered, Jing Yang asked Biscuit what she had experienced inside it.

  • The Taoist Nun released Biscuit from its sleeve, and Biscuit briefly transformed into her powerful muscular form before returning to her petite appearance.
  • Biscuit scolded Jing Yang for testing his ability on her without warning, then explained her transformations and described her Nen talents.
  • Biscuit questioned Jing Yang about the Jade-faced Nun’s conditions, including its close-range requirement and the 2.5-kilometer limit imposed by his Emitter training.
  • Jing Yang called out to a passing bird and to Wu Er, demonstrating that both could be collected in the sleeve when they answered to a name he recognized.
  • Biscuit and Shizuku concluded that the ability depended on Jing Yang’s understanding of whether a target had a name and was better suited to allies than enemies.
  • Jing Yang asked Biscuit what being inside the sleeve had been like, and Biscuit reacted with surprise when he said she had been there for half an hour.

Ch. 246Traces to Follow

Jing Yang and Biscuit tested the Jade-faced Nun Nen beast’s Sleeve of the Universe and discussed how its unfinished right sleeve might store Jing Yang’s Nen abilities. After confirming the sleeve preserved the bird’s wound and that the Nen beast consumed little Aura, Jing Yang sensed Rock Sparrow’s Star Mark imprints and prepared to begin their work.

  • Biscuit explained that they needed to determine whether time passed for the bird inside the Jade-faced Nun’s sleeve, so Jing Yang sent the wounded bird into it as a test.
  • While they waited, Biscuit inferred that Jing Yang planned to use the Nen beast’s unfinished right sleeve to store his own Nen abilities.
  • After about an hour, Biscuit found that the bird’s wound had continued bleeding inside the sleeve, showing that time had passed there.
  • Biscuit estimated that maintaining the Nen beast had cost Jing Yang only five or six thousand Aura, then guessed he could not dismiss it while someone remained inside its sleeve.
  • Jing Yang praised Biscuit’s guess, and Shizuku named her chainsaw ability Chainsaw Woman.
  • Jing Yang sensed Rock Sparrow’s Star Mark imprints in several coastal towns on Greed Island and announced that it was time to get to work.

Ch. 247Looks Familiar

Jing Yang and his companions reached the last coastal town in their month-long search for clues about Razor, while Jing Yang tested whether the Nen-Drinking Sword could drain a Spell Card. They split up to search the town, and Jing Yang gave his Rock Sparrow a task.

  • Jing Yang said the seaside town ahead was the last place left to search for Razor and noted that his Nen affinities had nearly all reached their limits.
  • Jing Yang had his Taoist Nun Nen Beast slash the Spell Card 'Contact' with the Nen-Drinking Sword until the card's Nen dissipated, after which he heard what sounded like dice rolling.
  • Biscuit threw Jing Yang toward the beach after he teased her, and Shizuku and Biscuit recognized the coast as somewhere they had visited before.
  • Jing Yang had Wu Er transform into a tiger-skin skirt for Shizuku, then he, Biscuit, and Shizuku split up to search the town.
  • Jing Yang caught the lazy Rock Sparrow and told it to bring back a leaf while he looked for water to perform Water Divination.

Ch. 248Wind

Jing Yang confirmed that the Rock Sparrow was a Transmuter and considered developing a wind-based ability for it. After Biscuit arrived, she noted that wind-transmutation abilities were usually used for support, and Jing Yang proposed checking the information he had found about Razor.

  • Jing Yang used Water Divination on the Rock Sparrow and confirmed its Aura changed the water’s flavor to kimchi, marking it as a Transmuter.
  • Jing Yang questioned Mo Fo Mo about Razor, and Mo Fo Mo denied knowing him before leaving.
  • Jing Yang contacted Shizuku, who joined him while they waited for Biscuit and discussed developing a wind-based ability for the Rock Sparrow.
  • Biscuit arrived and explained that wind-based Transmuter abilities were often used for support, such as improving air circulation.
  • Jing Yang said he had found information about Razor and led the group to go look at it.

Ch. 249Lying

Jing Yang, Biscuit, and Shizuku forced a group of pointed-hat men to lead them to Razor’s lighthouse. They entered an empty gym in a mirrored space, where Razor watched them from the other side.

  • Biscuit and Shizuku followed Jing Yang to a bar where Po Po Po denied knowing Razor.
  • Jing Yang used Star Marks to control the pointed-hat men and made them lead the group to the lighthouse.
  • Jing Yang and Biscuit talked about their organization and how he had found people who knew Razor.
  • The group entered the lighthouse gym, where the pointed-hat men vanished into a mirrored space.
  • Razor watched Jing Yang, Biscuit, and Shizuku from the other side while holding the '-007 Sandbox' card.

Ch. 250Lost Out

Jing Yang learned that Razor had killed the seven pointed-hat pirates who guided them into Lighthouse Fortress, then tried to deduce how to trigger Razor’s game stage. After a failed return to the fortress, Jing Yang planned to gather more players and prepare his Nen beast before challenging Razor, but the group was ambushed on their way into the wilderness.

  • Inside Lighthouse Fortress, Razor killed Po Po Po, Mo Fo Mo, and the five other pointed-hat pirates after recognizing they had been affected by an unknown Manipulator Nen Ability.
  • Jing Yang told Biscuit and Shizuku that Razor was inside the fortress, then gained seven Death Qi and spent two points to raise his Transmuter aptitude to 91.3%.
  • Jing Yang guessed that Razor’s stage required a team sports match and returned with Biscuit, Shizuku, the Fanged Moon Tiger, and Rock Sparrow, but the stadium remained empty.
  • Jing Yang reasoned that an Accompany spell card could bring enough players to trigger the stage, and said he would gather more people and perfect his Nen beast’s ability first.
  • As Jing Yang, Biscuit, Shizuku, the tiger, and the bird headed into the wilderness, several furtive figures surrounded them and blocked their path.

Ch. 251Bombs

Jing Yang and his companions discovered that a group of Greed Island players had been coerced by the Bomber, Ganshu, through bombs attached to their bodies. Jing Yang used his Nen beast to exorcise the bombs and sent the freed players to Shoufulabi while he continued refining the Nen beast.

  • Jing Yang marked the trembling players who tried to use Steal cards on his group, then noticed bombs attached to their bodies.
  • The players explained that Ganshu had tricked Battra’s former game-clearing group into believing he could exorcise the Bomber’s bombs before revealing that he was the Bomber.
  • Biscuit analyzed the bombs and concluded that the Bomber was a group of at least three people with different Nen abilities.
  • Jing Yang used Star Mark to put the players to sleep, and his Taoist Nun Nen beast used the Nen-Drinking Sword to exorcise their bombs.
  • Jing Yang ordered the freed players to wait in Shoufulabi and continued toward the woods with Shizuku, Biscuit, and Wu Er as Rock Sparrow watched from above.

Ch. 252No Goal

Jing Yang invited Biscuit to join his Ten Heavenly Stems group and travel to the Dark Continent, but she challenged him to a fight first. After defeating him, Biscuit questioned his forgotten Greed Island plan and called him a person without a goal.

  • Jing Yang invited Biscuit to join his Ten Heavenly Stems group, and she agreed to consider it after fighting him at daybreak.
  • While the others slept, Jing Yang trained Rock Sparrow to sense and shape Aura into wind, achieving only a brief transformation.
  • Biscuit fought Jing Yang for an hour, countering his abilities and outlasting him until he was exhausted and out of Aura.
  • Biscuit explained that she had fought in her petite form and that both of her forms shared the same total Nen quantity, though her smaller form felt restricted.
  • Shizuku asked whether Biscuit had decided about Jing Yang's invitation, and Biscuit challenged him over forgetting his plan to help Battra's hired Hunters leave Greed Island.
  • Jing Yang blamed Shizuku for making him forget, and Biscuit called him a person without a goal.

Ch. 253Talisman Sword

Biscuit challenged Jing Yang to confront his aimlessness, prompting him to admit that he wanted to go home and learn whether the world was real. He resolved to train until he could defeat Biscuit, then demonstrated how the Jade-faced Nun could turn certain Nen abilities into talismans and lend them to others.

  • Biscuit criticized Jing Yang for neglecting his stated goals, recruiting few allies, and delaying his plans in Greed Island, while Shizuku listened.
  • Jing Yang told Biscuit that he wanted to go home and find out whether the world was real, and he explained The Matrix to Shizuku.
  • Jing Yang agreed to train until he could beat Biscuit, and Biscuit invited Shizuku to spar as he began refining his Nen.
  • After half a month, Jing Yang showed Biscuit and Shizuku the Jade-faced Nun's new ability to store Nen powers in talismans and let others use them.
  • Jing Yang had the Jade-faced Nun extract Wu Er's Seventy-Two Transformations ability, then pointed out that Shizuku's and Kurapika's abilities could also be stored under the right conditions.

Ch. 254Forget It

Jing Yang discussed the restrictions on his Talisman Sword ability with Biscuit and Shizuku, who suggested ways he might use his Star Marks to develop more abilities to borrow. After Jing Yang explained the risks of marking many people, Biscuit agreed to fight him again and told him to bring out the Nen-Drinking Sword.

  • Jing Yang explained that Talisman Sword required him to create Zenyu, consume a large amount of aura, and meet strict conditions to record an ability as a talisman.
  • Jing Yang and Biscuit discussed how his Emitter and Manipulator training might affect Talisman Sword, but Jing Yang could not identify a clear way to improve it.
  • Shizuku suggested that Jing Yang mark young people and let them develop Nen Abilities so he could borrow those abilities later.
  • Jing Yang rejected the idea, warning that giving out his Star Mark could expose him to people tracing and exploiting his ability.
  • Biscuit praised Jing Yang for being cautious, then agreed to fight him again and asked him to bring out the Nen-Drinking Sword.

Ch. 255Finally Meeting Razor

Jing Yang tested himself against Biscuit, then used the Taoist Nun to create talismans and gathered controlled players to return to Shoufulabi. After forcing the game quest to progress, he finally met Razor and challenged him to begin the match.

  • Biscuit overwhelmed Jing Yang in combat, then used Cookie-chan to restore his strength and discussed her Nen abilities with him.
  • Jing Yang made several Chainsaw talismans from Shizuku and tested the Taoist Nun's talisman ability on Rock Sparrow, producing a crude wind talisman.
  • Jing Yang used Star Mark to gather thirteen players and transported the group to Shoufulabi with the Accompany card.
  • Jing Yang led the group into the lighthouse gymnasium, where a melancholy woman appeared and recited the quest story about Razor and the Sea God's Dwelling.
  • The gymnasium's overlapping space revealed Razor and the pointy-hatted men, and Jing Yang challenged Razor to send them flying again before Razor insisted they begin the match.

Ch. 256Yeah, We Were Supposed to Play Dodgeball

Jing Yang’s group swept the first seven sports matches, forcing Razor to enter an eight-on-eight dodgeball game with seven Nen dolls. The match began with Razor’s devastating throw that blasted through “Jing Shi Yi,” leaving Jing Yang facing the consequences of keeping his avatar under control.

  • Razor proposed a fifteen-person contest for the “A Square Inch of Coastline” card, with sports matches and one competitor per round.
  • “Jing Yi” beat the little blue hat at boxing, and “Jing San” won basketball by using the Star Mark to alter the ball’s trajectory.
  • Wu Er defeated the weightlifter by lifting a five-ton barbell, while “Jing Shi San,” “Jing Qi,” and “Jing Jiu” won arm wrestling, vaulting, and high jump.
  • Jing Yang used Rock Sparrow’s wind ability to beat the little purple hat in a fifty-meter sprint, giving his side seven victories.
  • Razor revealed that he and seven Nen dolls would compete against Jing Yang’s team in dodgeball, with the match’s result counting for eight victories.
  • Shizuku opened by throwing the ball at Razor, who caught it and fired it back; the throw destroyed “Jing Shi Yi’s” arms and tore through his torso.

Ch. 257Who Taught You Tai Chi?

Jing Yang used a hidden trick to send Razor into the Taoist Nun’s Sleeve of the Universe, but Razor’s numbered dolls merged into an increasingly powerful defender and injured Jing Yang. Biscuit stopped its next killing shot and returned the ball, leaving the match poised for another exchange.

  • Jing Yang remotely controlled Jing Shi Yi to leave the court, then threw a volleyball at Razor with enough force to send him flying backward.
  • The Taoist Nun, disguised as a thin sheet of rubber wrapped around the ball, emerged behind Razor and pulled him into the Sleeve of the Universe, and Referee Number 0 declared him out.
  • Razor’s numbered dolls merged into Number 10, then Number 23 and Number 28, and the Number 23 doll broke Jing Yang’s arm with a powerful shot.
  • Jing Yang asked whether the dolls could sense Razor’s condition and threw the ball back as the dolls merged into Number 28.
  • Biscuit absorbed Number 28’s killing shot with her Nen oil, spun the ball on her fingertip, and spiked it back toward the doll.
  • As Number 28 moved to catch the rebounding ball, someone called for Blobfish to suck it in.

Ch. 258Thinking Pretty Highly of Yourself

After defeating Razor, Jing Yang and his companions claimed the rare A Square Inch of Coastline card and speculated that Razor had hidden more puppets. Ganshu contacted them to bargain for the card, but Jing Yang’s Rock Sparrow found his hiding place and turned his own Bomber companions against him.

  • Razor admitted defeat after learning Biscuit had caught the fused puppets’ attack, and Jing Yang asked about the dead Spider buried at sea.
  • Biscuit and Shizuku obtained the A Square Inch of Coastline card after the quest-giver vanished, while Jing Yang went to inspect the Spider’s grave.
  • Jing Yang, Biscuit, and Shizuku speculated that Razor might have kept seven more puppets hidden and estimated his total Nen quantity.
  • Ganshu contacted Jing Yang, revealed he had watched them obtain the card, and offered to copy two more in exchange for theirs.
  • Rock Sparrow located Ganshu and his companions, and Jing Yang pointed him out as Ganshu’s two Bomber companions lunged at him.

Ch. 259Blue Planet

Jing Yang's group stripped the Bomber trio of their cards and used Exorcism on Blue Planet and Rainbow Diamond, but the act triggered a hidden stage across Greed Island. As the island's players were drawn into a strange frozen world, a man with the Sandbox card appeared and began explaining Ging's plans.

  • Ganshu admitted that the Bomber trio had failed to defeat Razor, and Jing Yang took all their cards before sending them away.
  • Jing Yang turned the Blue Planet card into a gemstone for Biscuit, while Shizuku converted her Rainbow Diamond card into a gem.
  • Jing Yang's Taoist Nun performed Exorcism on both gemstones, removing the Rainbow Diamond's special effect while leaving Blue Planet intact.
  • A giant twenty-sided die appeared overhead and announced that it was randomizing a hidden stage for Greed Island's players.
  • The island turned gray and players including Hisoka appeared in the same distorted space, before a shattered-mirror barrier separated Jing Yang's group from them.
  • A blond man holding the -007, Sandbox card appeared and began describing how Ging set out to create the game island.

Ch. 260Where the Hell Did They Dump Me?

Allantrail explained that the mysterious DICE was tied to the Dark Continent and had triggered a hidden stage that scattered the players. Jing Yang arrived alone in a strange child’s room, where a girl demanded his eyes, while the Zoldyck estate’s dragon statues suddenly activated.

  • Allantrail told Jing Yang and the others that DICE was an unknown force added to Greed Island by Ging and that he could not stop its triggered hidden stage.
  • DICE activated the hidden stage, and Jing Yang used his Nen Beast Taoist Nun to send talismans toward Biscuit and Shizuku before he, Shizuku, Wu Er, Rock Sparrow, and Biscuit vanished.
  • Jing Yang found himself separated from the others in a windowless room full of toys, unable to sense their Star Marks nearby.
  • A black-haired child in the room asked Jing Yang to give her his eyes.
  • At the Zoldyck family’s Trial Gate, the dragon-head statues lit their eyes and fired beams toward Mount Pinyin.

Ch. 261Twelve Palaces

Jing Yang was teleported from Alluka’s room into a Zoldyck training area, where he found Killua and tried to leave. Killua stopped him from entering the trap-filled Capricorn Palace, and Jing Yang questioned why the Twelve Palaces were there.

  • Alluka demanded Jing Yang’s right eyeball, so Jing Yang gave it to him, took it back, and was suddenly teleported away.
  • Jing Yang arrived in a dark underground chamber and found Killua asleep in a cable-wrapped chair.
  • Jing Yang tried to contact Shizuku and Biscuit but got no response, then pushed open a heavy door and entered a brightly lit hall.
  • Steel needles shot at Jing Yang as he crossed the hall, but Killua dragged him back into the dark chamber and warned him that the Capricorn Palace was full of traps.
  • Jing Yang questioned why the Twelve Palaces were in the Zoldyck Family’s lair and joked about a Gemini Pope.
