• Xiao Yan reunited with Xun Er, who had become a Dou Saint, as the clans gathered outside the Demon Flame Space and Xiao Yan clashed with Yao Tian over Yao Chen.
• Xiao Yan and Xun Er navigated the flame-filled space, defeated its trials, and discovered that the apparent Demon Flame Source was an illusion before reaching the true Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.
• The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame trapped the gathered fighters in a fire prison, and Xiao Yan rallied the rival clans to fight it as a group.
• Xiao Yan and his allies battled the flame, but its counterattacks and the Refining Heaven Ancient Formation turned the fight until the Purification Lotus Demon Saint emerged and confronted it.

Xiao Yan united the Ancient Void Dragon Clan with the Flame Alliance, advanced to Six-Star Dou Saint, and restored the Xiao Clan before visiting the Yao Clan’s Medicine Ceremony. After forcing Yao Wangui to confess his role in Yao Chen’s exile, Xiao Yan entered the ceremony as Hun Xuzi arrived to challenge the alchemists.

• Nalan Yanran defeated Feng Qing’er, and Xiao Yan became Hall Master of the Hall of Souls before learning more about Nihility Devouring Flame and Tou She Ancient God.
• Xiao Yan and Zi Yan defeated the North Dragon King’s forces, reunited the Ancient Void Dragon Clan under Zi Yan, and formed an alliance with the Flame Alliance.
• Xiao Yan refined the Nine Mysterious Golden Lightning into a Thunder Tribulation Pill and advanced to Six-Star Dou Saint.
• Xiao Yan relocated the Xiao Realm, reclaimed leadership of the Xiao Clan, married Xun Er, and visited Xiao Xuan in the Heaven Tomb.

Xiao Yan won the title of the continent’s number one alchemist before the Hun Clan destroyed the Medicine Clan and seized all eight Ancient Jades. As Hun Tiandi pursued the Emperor Grade Pill Embryo, Xiao Yan followed him to Tou She Ancient God’s Cave Mansion, where a vast statue appeared.

• Xiao Yan defeated Hun Xuzi in the alchemy contest by creating a living Ninth Grade Golden Pill, then Hun Xuzi and the Hun Clan launched their assault on the Medicine Clan.
• Yao Dan entrusted the surviving young Medicine Clan members to Xiao Yan, but Xiao Yan stayed neutral as the Hun Clan overran the Medicine Realm and took the captives.
• Xiao Yan accepted the Hun Clan’s resources, raised his strength, and broke through to the Emperor Realm Soul while the Ancient Clan and its allies failed to stop Hun Tiandi from collecting all eight Ancient Jades.
• Hun Tiandi challenged Xiao Yan and asked him to refine the Emperor Grade Pill Embryo, but Xiao Yan later refused to join the clans’ fight for it.

Xiao Yan became a Dou God, uncovered clues about the Great Thousand World and the Divine Beast Continent, and prepared to leave the Dou Qi Continent with Zi Yan. He ended the stretch by teaching alchemy at Jia Nan Academy and preparing to pass on Yao Chen’s legacy.

• The Emperor Grade Pill Embryo revealed itself as Tou She Ancient God, and Xiao Yan joined forces with Zhu Kun, Zi Yan, and the arriving experts to stop Hun Tiandi and Nihility Devouring Flame from seizing it.
• Xiao Yan released the Pill Embryo, discovered that Tou She Ancient God’s statue held a legacy, and later refined an Emperor Grade Pill with help from his family and friends.
• Xiao Yan reached the Dou God realm, opened Tou She Ancient God’s statue, and destroyed its inheritance with a fire lotus formed from his Heavenly Flames.
