Background / History

One Wonder was born during the final decline of the Immortal Divine Court. Her original aptitude was only second-grade, and she later surpassed her limits after consuming the essence of a Chaos Beast. She initially cultivated an earth-attribute method to the True Self Realm before decisively changing to the far more difficult Dao of Space, despite having no exceptional natural affinity for it. 469 501 594

Around five thousand years before the events in the Universal Realm, she had only recently attained Longevity when she pursued the Heavenly Fox into that world. By the present era, her mastery of space made her one of the strongest cultivators alive. 494

As Holy Master, she maintained Great Luo Dao Land as the foremost of the Three Great Holy Lands for nearly 5,700 years. Though infamous for alarming whims and an interest in treating dangerous beings as “pets,” she was considered dependable in matters affecting her holy land and had not caused a major disaster during her rule. 420

Her long fixation on succeeding the Heavenly Saint stemmed from manipulation by Heavenly Saint and his lineage. She was encouraged to believe she could accomplish anything, then denied the position with the claim that a woman could not wear the Human Race’s crown. Even after recognizing that this belief had been used to restrain her, she remained unable to abandon the desire to challenge that judgment. 560

Behind that unserious exterior is an exceptionally ambitious and calculating cultivator. She can be patient for millennia, make long-term investments in potential successors, and withdraw from battle rather than risk unacceptable losses. 425 471

One Wonder first traveled toward the Southern Domain to inspect Chen Zhixing, the Chaos Body she referred to as a prospective pet. Her arrival caused widespread alarm among the Chen Clan and regional cultivators. 420 421

She attacked Ziwei Mountain with the Dark Bird Great Ferry and personally plucked stars from the Chen Clan’s formation to use as weapons. Chen Zhixing’s Great Five Elements Yin-Yang Primordial Magnetism Extinction Divine Light erased her projected figure, while the Six Domains All-Heavens Starry Middle Sky Ziwei Emperor formation forced her to retreat rather than risk devastating the Eastern Continent. 424 425

Later, she met Chen Zhixing at the Broken Temple and attempted to recruit him. After he refused, she returned him to Ziwei Mountain through her spatial Dao. 432

Universal Realm Expedition

One Wonder entered the Universal Realm with Black Bodhi while pursuing her own plans involving Heavenly Saint Palace and the sea of stars. 485
