After Chen Chou'er slaughtered Li Changsheng’s family, Li Changsheng escaped with Lu Zhinu and Bai Hu'er, while Chen Zhixing faced the approaching Sikong Family.

• Chen Daoyan told Chen Zhixing that the Chen Clan’s seized resources could produce dozens of True Self Realm cultivators, and Chen Zhixing asked the Shadow Division to investigate a suspected Destined Protagonist in Huai Province.
• Li Changsheng’s many descendants had raised him from a struggling cultivator to Nirvana Realm, and Third Sikong promised to extend Lu Zhinu’s life if Li Changsheng competed in the Eastern Xuan Region Tournament.
• Chen Zhixing completed the Nine Heavens Thunder Dao, then traveled to Huai Province with Dugu Ni and reunited with Shan Yang after saving him from the Blazing Sun Sword Sect.

• Li Changsheng found his family dead, hid the truth from Lu Zhinu, and escaped with her and Bai Hu'er through a hidden Teleportation Array as Chen Zhixing faced approaching Sikong Family forces.

Chen Zhixing traveled to Qianyang Academy, rejected Xu Qingzhou’s marriage proposal, and comprehended the Life and Death Great Dao. At the Eastern Xuan Region Tournament, he entered the Ancient Land, killed a group of Heavenly Prides, and drew Nine Sins, Ye Liancheng, and Shen San toward a confrontation.

• Chen Zhixing established a Pure Land on Third Peak, strengthening the Chen Clan, then condensed an Ice Dao Seed and set out for Qianyang Academy.
• At Qianyang Academy, Xu Qingzhou refused the marriage proposal, and Tian Qianzi advised Chen Zhixing to cultivate the Life and Death Great Dao before giving him a Death Spirit Pill.
• Chen Zhixing entered the Sealing Yuan Coffin and experienced an illusion of birth, death, and a family of funeral workers, eventually awakening with the Life and Death Great Dao Seed.
• As the tournament began on Immortal Suspension Mountain, Chen Zhixing arrived and struck Li Chengfeng after he insulted Chen Chou’er.
• The three Immortal Dao Lineages opened the Ancient Land, and Chen Zhixing found an Immortal Martial Token that summoned a black Sword Palace as his Heavenly Reward.
• Chen Zhixing fed ancient swords to Azure Pheasant, then used his Life and Death Pupil Art to kill more than ten Heavenly Prides who tried to take his token.
• Chen Zhixing returned to the Sword Palace as Azure Pheasant advanced to the True Self Sixth Level, while Wu Duolong led the token standings and Nine Sins, Ye Liancheng, and Shen San moved to attack him.

Chen Zhixing advanced through the tournament, killed a Nirvana Realm assassin, and began merging his Nine Great Daos while Embers hunted the Heavenly Prides inside the sealed world. The tournament ended with Chen Zhixing and Peng Nai summoned out as the Immortal Dao Lineage Lords arrived, while Si Kong Xuanji remained determined to assassinate Chen Zhixing.

• Chen Zhixing emerged with his ninth Great Dao, defeated Ye Liancheng, Shen San, and Nine Sins, and later killed Gu Xuanding and Liao Hou while collecting their Immortal Martial Tokens.
• Chen Zhixing obtained the Great Dao Furnace Scripture and used his eight Dharma Manifestations to destroy the Dirty Soap Robe Old Man, then killed him with the Life and Death Great Dao after recovering his strength.
• Chen Zhixing’s victory over the Nirvana Realm assassin brought celebrations from Ziwei’s Chen Clan and prompted the Heavenly Saint Palace and Ascension Immortal Sect to seek him out.
• Chen Zhaosheng warned Chen Zhixing that Embers planned to hunt the Heavenly Prides, gave him nearly fifty Immortal Martial Tokens, and helped him stage a fight before Chen Zhixing hid in the eastern Chaos Mist.
• Embers attacked the Heavenly Prides across the Ancient Land Small World, killing Gai Rong and capturing many others, while Chen Zhixing rescued Peng Nai by pulling him into the Chaos Mist.
• Chen Zhixing cultivated the Great Dao Furnace Scripture and completed its bronze ancient cauldron as the tournament ended and Chen Zhaosheng left the small world.
• Chen Zhixing and Peng Nai were summoned out of the Ancient Land Small World as the three Immortal Dao Lineage Lords arrived, while Si Kong Xuanji resolved to use the Sikong Family’s Clan-Protecting Longevity Weapon against Chen Zhixing.

After surviving the tournament and rejecting the Immortal Dao Lineages, Chen Zhixing returned to Ziwei Mountain and endured a devastating Nirvana breakthrough. He emerged in the Nirvana Realm and began settling old scores, while Li Changsheng joined forces with the Sikong Family to draw him out.

• Chen Zhixing survived the tournament’s final battle, where Chen Daoyan defeated Si Kong Xuanji and the Sikong Family’s Seven Elders, while Chen Zhixing forced Li Changsheng to kneel by threatening Lü Zhi Nu.
• Chen Zhixing rejected offers from the three great Immortal Dao Lineages and returned to Ziwei Mountain, where he planted the Void Heaven Divine Vine and began preparing for Nirvana.
• Dugu Ni completed his Nirvana Thunder Tribulation, then Chen Zhixing faced a far greater one, defeating thunder beasts and apparitions of Sun Moon Daoist, Emperor Xuanhua, Grand Tutor Lu, and the North Suppressing King.
• Chen Zhixing survived the Limit Breaking Tribulation and entered the Life and Death Tribulation, while Ziwei’s Chen Clan grew stronger during his yearlong seclusion.
• Chen Zhixing awoke at sixteen in the Nirvana Realm’s Third Turn and set out to settle matters with the Sikong Family, Li Changsheng, and his other enemies.
• Chen Zhixing killed Xun Puzi and Little Poison Fairy near the ruined Medicine King Valley, then Si Kong Xuanji learned that more of his forces had been killed.
• Li Changsheng arrived at the Sikong Family and offered to draw Chen Zhixing out, convinced that Chen Zhixing held a powerful killing intent toward him.
