Throughout the history of the Demon Feast, everything brought out from the back kitchen had been edible straight away. Even when some rather "unappealing-looking" foods appeared, none had ever been this outrageous.

During the fall, their mood would change, and they would ultimately land in a fishpond full of numbing-pepper oil, where they could gorge themselves and enjoy the appetite-driven pleasure of surviving a calamity.
It even gave Yi Chen a slight insight into death during the fall.
The genius magician from Zion, Adam Frost, had made a dish called Magic Meatballs.
When everyone opened the dish, the meatball that should have been "inside" the plate appeared directly in their mouths instead. As their teeth chewed, rich, fragrant juices burst across their tongues.
When the meatball in their mouths had been completely chewed but they still felt unsatisfied, another meatball would appear out of nowhere. Its flavor would also change completely, becoming light and refreshing enough to cut through the grease.
