The one doing the enthralling was the 'aggregate' currently tearing through the curtain and crawling out.

this monster, with multiple heads hanging from its exterior and multiple bodies stitched together, was also a potential Certain Death, but somehow it felt like it was missing something.
Perhaps she had deliberately chosen to express herself in this aggregated-monster state. Or perhaps it was the result of a congenital defect.
But either way, it was stronger than Liu Xinzhi. Judging by the number of heads hanging from its body, it had clearly absorbed at least ten of its kind.
If Liu Xinzhi herself had not lied, she had only absorbed one so far.
Yi Chen still only intended to watch. He needed to see more and gather more information before he could accurately determine what "Certain Death" was—whether the name referred to evil itself, or to a general term for an enormous world phenomenon, and how exactly it could be eradicated.
He had no intention of showing mercy or intervening. Even if Liu Xinzhi died here, it had nothing to do with him.
In Yi Chen's eyes, although Liu Xinzhi had not completely transformed yet, she was still a potential evil—a target he would have killed without fail in life.

Watching the monster tear through the curtain and charge over,
