A full hour had passed since Yi Chen dragged Calamity into the Dead Sea.
A clash between experts of this caliber should not have lasted long. Both Yi Chen and Calamity, who had taken on the form of a maniacal killer, were lethal types, which should have shortened the battle even further. It should not have consumed this much time.
Regan had reappeared in the sky.
Just as he landed, Lainey, who had been hiding in a resident's house, leaped over as well, her face filled with worry.
"Why hasn't Mr. Yi come out yet..."
Regan crouched down and touched the land corroded by Death Corrosion, his expression solemn. "I can't detect what's happening in the Dead Sea, but something is definitely wrong.

Hearing Regan's frightening analysis, Lainey covered her mouth in terror, tears welling in her eyes.
Just then, a beam of moonlight descended and happened to shine on the two of them, illuminating the black soil beneath their feet. This meant that Lorien had finished creating the passage.
His voice sounded at the same time, almost perfectly matching Regan's guess.
"Yi Chen isn't dead, but he probably will be soon... He is absolutely not the sort of person who would waste time. The only possibility is that he triggered some state of Calamity's and is slowly dying.
"Since he went to the Dead Sea, there is nothing we can do to help him.
"Come with me! We will seek reinforcements in an adjacent world."
Although Lorien's course of action seemed somewhat heartless, it
